Présentation de l'éditeur

Six years ago, Noah Wheeler went to meet his boyfriend, Dante Cerreto, at the airport, and his world ended. Dante was kissing someone else and claimed to be in love. So Noah took his heartbreak—and the sonogram pictures of their surrogate child—and closed the door on the big picture of what he thought his life would be, focusing instead on the piece of the dream he got to keep, being a father.

Now on vacation in Las Vegas, Noah accidentally runs into the Cerreto family, and then the man himself, and learns that not only was he deceived, but Dante was as well. Now Dante wants to make up for lost time, six years’ worth, and to do that he needs Noah, the only man he’s ever loved, and Grace, the daughter he didn’t know he had, to give him a chance at happiness. Dante’s going to have to take a crash course in communication and seduction, though. Noah’s not going to fall in love just to be broken again.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 "biting wit and sizzling sex scenes, Again is a charming and poignant romance. " 24 novembre 2011

Dante Cerreto broke Noah Wheeler's heart on what should have been, the happiest day of their lives. Six years later a chance meeting brings them back together, and Dante finds out about the daughter he never knew he had. Dante wants his family back, but Noah's still reeling from Dante's betrayal. Has their happily ever after come six years too late?

Again is an endearing story of how Noah, Dante, and Grace become a family. Dante and Noah take miscommunication to a new level, almost ending their relationship without even one face-to-face confrontation. Circumstances and pride threaten to destroy their faith in each other. While Again is a fast-paced story, because Dante and Noah's feelings never waned, (and because I wanted them to be together so badly) instead of feeling rushed, it feels just right. Dante and Noah were meant to be together, and they prove it with a sizzling seduction in a secluded corner.

Mary Calmes is a very talented author who can fell me with her detectives and cowboys as easily as with her paranormal warriors. In addition to Calmes' usual biting wit and sizzling sex scenes, Again is a charming and poignant romance.

This was a cute, sweet, little novlette about a couple who split up five years prior due to a misunderstanding and meets up again during a trip to Vegas. It is written in the usual Mary Calmes style: the he-man, the perfect-in-everyway pretty boy, and the huge, loving, support group of friends and family. I happen to enjoy it, though I know some people find it too "mary-sue". Anyway, a cute, feel-good read and good for a smile.

OK Noah is the pretty so nice "Mary-Sue" and Dante is the he-man possessive gorgeous hunk (strong resemblance to Sam of A Matter Of Time_Book_I series). But they keep me entertained with their misunderstandings, reconciliation and happily ever. This is typical Mary Calmes but now and then I do like this type of story to keep me in a "comfy" mood.

Mary Calmes writes stories I find have interesting plots, but annoying as hell interactions, or maybe reactions....kind off both. Usually the main character reacts angrily to something I find he shouldn't because it is from a misunderstanding that became a monster fed by his own lack of self esteem, or (in my opinion) he doesn't give the right reaction to what the love interest did that make me grind my teeth! Again, this is just my opinion. An example in this book....****caution: spoiler alert****

Dante's reaction to finding out Keith was fooling around. Or how about him making all those promises to Gracie when he didn't even have ask permission from Noah and just forces his way back in or just....just...I'm getting worked up again. I think if this was stretched out longer I would feel better. I hate reading about relationships that go from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes. But that is my own preference.

I gave this 3 stars because for all the teeth grinding it caused me, it was a hot read and the plot has a lot of promise. I will just use my imagination to tweak certain parts. Thank you for sharing your works with us! It takes a lot of guts to be an author in this genre, and I respect the hell out of you for doing it. Keep it up!

Again is the story of a deep relationship between Noah and Dante, how it broke, and was put back together. The break up was only told from Noah's end -- How it impacted him and how his daughter, Gracie, saved him.

Six years down the road Noah and Gracie are attending a wedding in Vegas. In the hotel Noah meets up with Dante's brother. . . And from there the rest of the clan. Why Dante's family needed to be there together just to buy property is one question. But Dante is with them and meets up again with his long lost love Noah. The coincidence was a bit much but it works.

For a short story, Dante acted really childish towards Keith. Gloating. Pushy with Noah. Over the top with Gracie. He was so tacky that the lingering love and romance of having his Noah back was not there. I wasn't convinced that Dante loved Noah yet in six years never looked him up. I felt it was Grace that pushed him into continuing their relationship. Of course the story ends before we see if their relationship will work.

Yes it was well written and the characters were engaging. But it missed it's mark for me. - Dan's Wife
