Présentation de l'éditeur

112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, NY, one of the most infamous addresses in America. The shear sight of this iconic house has caused many a sleepless night. Numerous movies provide fodder for the nightmares of many, yet the truth behind the house has long been avoided. Until now.
Author London Knight places all the evidence and crime scene photos within the pages of this book. Some may ask why? It is simple, after 13 years of research and with the discovery of a second gun the case continues to puzzle. With all the pieces in place, it is time to present all the evidence and let the reader decide.
Was it a case of demonic possession or one man’s lust for drugs and money?
Welcome to Amityville: House of Lies
INCLUDES RARE CRIME SCENE PHOTOS, POLICE REPORTS, and EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS

This book sucks, and a lot of it is plagerized WORD FOR WORD from various Amityville websites. Don't buy it!

This book is absolutely dreadful. I should have trusted my instincts with the credibility of this trash when I immediately noticed on the cover that they don't use a photo of the real house...not even the original "movie" house...they used the one from the terrible remake. Strike one. Upon opening the book and reading it, I was appalled at the numerous spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. Clearly there was no editor, and this was a self published book. NO respectable publishing house would have touched this. As far as the extensive research...well, I guess reading someone else's work and then using it to write your own book can be called "researching," but all I see is where the "author" cites other sources. Lazy "researching" at its best. LOL

Money wasted.

Aside from all the spelling and grammar errors, this book doesn't contain much if anything we didn't already know or have seen. Early in the book it is mentioned the High Hopes sign in the yard from Mr. Defeo is still there to this day. Did the author ever go to the house of look at photos from the last 20 years? If you can't get something like that right how are we supposed to take much of this book serious. I do enjoy the photo's because there is a few I had no seen but they don't offer anything we didn't already know. Save your money this isn't worth the cyberspace data it was transmitted on.

Horrific writing/typing skills aside, huge chunks of this book are plagiarised directly from (better) sources across the internet. It should be removed from Amazon immediately and the author prosecuted for plagiarism.

...however, this was the most poorly written book I have ever read. I am not sure who the editor was, but the editing job was incredibly BAD. I guess not worse than the writing though. There were so many spelling errors, grammatical errors, and even repeats of entire paragraphs that went missed.

Even worse than that is the fact that no matter how much I read and continued to think I would get what Ms. Knight was going for with this book, I never could quite grasp what the entire point was. What WAS the point of this book? Does anyone know? I really thought there would be something uncovered at least midway that made it more clear what the writer wanted the reader to 'get'. It was nothing more than a rehash (and rehash is an understatement) of facts that had already been reviewed many, many times. I thought at first that the focus of the book was to talk about the second killer involved and shed some light on whether or not that was the case, but there was nothing that really solidified that this was the reason the author decided to create this book.

It really was a waste of money and time. I think Ms. Knight is just having a good time self publishing books pretending to be a writer.

If I had one word to describe her book, that word would be incongruent. So inconsisent lacking a clear picure she wanted to paint
