Très bon livre.L'anatomie comparée est, ici, bien représentée. L'étude de chaque muscle y est détaillée chez trois ou quatre sortes d'animaux à la fois sur dessins anatomiques. Des silhouettes d'animaux en ombres chinoises indiquent les différences morphologiques entre espèces. Des animaux pas très courants (rhinocéros,hippopotame, etc), y sont représentés en planches ostéo-myologiques. Ce livre fera le plus grand bonheur des modeleurs, sculpteurs et peintres.
