Arthritis is a big deal in the U.S., being the leading cause of disability in this country. Statistics show that Americans are not getting much better from this condition using traditional medicine or surgery, so this book is very interesting. I've always opted for natural solutions that work with the body rather than trying to remove or palliate the problem. This book does exactly that!

Even though this book isn't lengthy, it packs a lot of information in each page. The information includes causes of this diseases, as well as what any arthritis cure should aim to do. The book then educates the reader on the major popular approaches, such as surgery or medication, as well as the side effects.

Then there are the natural approaches--everything from attitude, diet, supplements, and fasting to herbs, exercise, aromatherapy and much more. Each approach is well researched, and big words are translated into easy-to-understand layman's terms. Finally, the book wraps everything up into a simple step-by-step approach that is so easy to follow.

This book has a lot of valuable information that anyone affected by arthritis (or care-givers of people affected by arthritis) can definitely use! I am going to suggest some of these to my grandmother.

If you have arthritis and are takings NSAIDs, read this book. Those NSAIDs can be a great, temporary help, but they're not a good long-term therapy for arthritis. Of course, there are over a hundred different types of arthritis. One of the most common is osteoarthritis, and one of the worst is rheumatoid arthritis. But all the types cause pain ranging from a minor irritation to life-threatening agony.

This book presents different natural therapies to help you prevent arthritis, or if it's too late for that (as it is for most who will read this book) at least live more comfortably with the disease. Acupuncture, exercise, aromatherapy, avoidance of certain foods, or including other foods in your diet are just a few of the methods presented with explanations of why they are beneficial. The author presents a comprehensive compilation of therapies that you can try. One or more of them will help you!

There is no doubt in my mind that we are what we eat. Being a homeopath I am always looking for new health affirming techniques to rid the body of chronic dis-ease and dis-order. Having kicked RA myself by eliminating gluten, this book resonated to me and I was glad to find that it holds in it much potential for healing the woes of arthritis without suppressing the body's expression of the inflammation associated with it. This book highlights and guides one through the use of herbs, teas, and healthful foods high in antioxidants and heavy in ingredients that naturally reduce inflammation and as a result, can sometimes even completely eradicate joint pain and rigidity. I highly recc. this book for anyone looking to dump the OTC/and prescription medicines for a more natural and healthy approach!

Because I found the author's book on smoothies as remedies for painrelief particularly helpful I decided also to downnload this book and was not disappointed! It contains a lot of tips and gives useful information on natural treatments and remedies. I will also recommened my mother to buy the book because she is an arthritis patient. It seems that by changing your eating habits and introducing several anti-inflammatory nutrients into your diet, you can do a lot yourself to reduce the pain caused by arthritis.
