5.0 étoiles sur 5 Information on the art of recording audio books by the best in the business 21 juillet 2014

The first time I listened to a book narrated by Ms. Rosenblat I was immediately thrilled by her mesmerizing voice and magnificent rendition of the characters she portrayed. I of course fell in love with her artistry, professionalism and uniqueness. Ms. Rosenblat has been my companion for years as she accompanied me every day from the depths of my car stereo projecting different accents and dialects of the personalities from the stories.
Is there anything better than a good book? Yes. Ms. Rosenblat narrating and making the book even better! I got to the point that I would choose a book not because of the author, but because Ms. Rosenblat was narrating! And imagine my joy when I was watching an episode of Law and Order, SVU, and realized who the brilliant actress was by that unique voice! I could now watch her as well!

I am a linguist and author. My books always have an element of music in them because I grew up surrounded by great voices. I’m pretty savvy when it comes to vocal sounds, languages and accents, so Ms. Rosenblat’s body of work is an even greater treat! Thank you for the special moments you have gifted us through the years, and thank you for this book that gives us so much insight into your craft.
We, your fans, will continue to cherish your work.

I loved this book. I love that there was very practical, non gimmicky advice from a woman who is a total pro as an actor herself. Unlike other material on the biz of voice over she is very specific in her advice. It all comes from her own very successful career in this field. I highly recommend it. Oh and it's not just for beginners. It covers a range of info for all levels of voice actors.
