This second edition is simply great. The words are well-chosen and easy to find. The vocabulary is both rich and modern. The use of two colours makes it pleasant to the eye.
However, I would like to offer a suggestion for a third edition.
There are three columns: -1) the English word. -2) the Japanese word in "rômaji". -3) the pronunciation in a sort of strange English-sounding system.
I do not think it is necessary to give the pronunciation. Japanese is very easy to pronounce, even for beginners, and the "rômaji" transcription is always written.
So, the third column is quite useless and could be used to write the Chinese characters instead. It would enable more advanced students to use this book without having to look up the "kanji" in the English-Japanese Wordfinder all the time, which is tedious and time-consuming.
