With this new concept of emotional intelligence and resonant leadership, I expected to read something new, with real exercises to try my emotional reactions and improve. The content of this book is mainly what you get from coaching books : work on your values, align your goals, resonate with yourself first. Not to mention thousands of years of asian wisdom ( meditation, emotional awareness, self awareness, etc..)
Well, this is true : you have to work on this first before you can even think about leading a group, so I would say this book was a wake up call to dig deep into what is there. The book actually delivers for its purpose.
Though if you still have "The 7 habits of highly successful people" by Stephen Covey at hand, save money and start applying it.
