"A lot of fans are going to spend the next few years awaiting a new series. However, I have the perfect solution for those who want their Star Trek fix-go to your nearest bookshop and start reading the many Star Trek novels…I know that some might say that novels are a poor substitute for a live-action TV series, but I disagree. There's a universe of adventure out there…What I'm saying is that the movies and TV shows are not the be-all and end-all. I truly believe that if Star Trek fans were to check out the many novels published, they would be very happy with what they see and it would help pass the time until Star Trek's inevitable return to the big and small screens."

Response: "If you haven't tried picking up a Star Trek book recently, give it a go!"

Présentation de l'éditeur
To the disbelief of Starfleet Command, and especially of Admiral Janeway, the Borg were not vanquished when the USS Voyager destroyed their transwarp conduits. A disabled Borg cube seems to hold the answers to why the Borg are now striking out and killing, without troubling to assimilate their prey. Admiral Janeway, Seven of Nine and a team of Federation scientists know they don't have much time to stop the threat. Meanwhile Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise, who barely defeated the Borg who were trapped in Federation space, turn to Ambassador Spock for help. Can they discover what lies behind these strange and chilling developments before the Borg can make their triumphant return?
