Bon produit, il manque un double zip qui permettrait de contrôler le sens d'ouverture de la pochette, puisque qu'on peut facilement l'attacher partout et dans tous les sens...

clunky 21 avril 2014

I didn't return it, but sort of wish I had. It was very bulky on my Black Rapid strap and seemed in the way when I swung my camera up. I took it off mid-vacation and have not used it since.

Pretty useful little accessory bag 10 octobre 2013

If you're like me then you hate dragging your gear around with you and are probably looking for more ways to reduce your load or at the very least, reduce your bulk.
I mainly shoot event photography for work and this means I have to be prepared for all kinds of situations. I'm generally carrying 2 camera's so I don't have to swap lenses constantly, at least 1 hot-shoe flash, a diffuser, one extra lens and every once in awhile a tripod. When I'm moving around in groups of people or small rooms carrying a backpack is/was a nightmare.

Anyway, what I dig about this little thing is that it can clip onto just about anything. The velcro strap on the back is wide enough to fit around a belt, a backpack strap, etc. I'd say it can probably secure safely around something that's up to maybe 3 to 3.5 inches (65mm) wide max and about .5" (14mm)thick
It's pretty solid as far as construction. I've been out with it a few times (event, street and landscape shooting) and I don't see it getting torn up or falling apart at all.

It's got small pockets inside, 2 for back-up cards and a larger one on the opposite side where I'm keeping 4 AA's and a spare camera battery. You could easily drop the batteries and keep a smart phone or compact point 'n' shoot and maybe a lens cloth and a small, gray balance card. I've stashed a Samsung Stratosphere (smart phone with slide out keyboard) that was also in a rubber shell, it fit nicely, I have an old Canon PowerShot SD950IS that fits in it comfortably as well. It also has a small half-pocket in the front that works as a good lens cap pocket in a pinch.
It's just a really nice accessory pocket for lots of your little crap you might not want to leave behind on a shoot but don't want to bring out your whole bag for. You can also string a few of these together using the clip and loop system that's on the back, pretty clever.

I originally got this to clip on to my backpack but I also have a couple of knock off speed straps, the ones with the Q instead of the R (I've done reviews on 2 of those from different vendors as well, might wanna read them before you go buy one), this bag doesn't clip tightly onto the strap itself, the nylon is too thin, it will clip on but it will slide around on the strap so I wouldn't recommend attaching it to the actual nylon strap. It will however strap onto the shoulder pad and has an added clip to help secure it up there. I personally like to clip it to my lens bag strap so that it's at waist height rather than up around my shoulder, again it slides around but my lens bag clips to my belt so since the bag remains stationary the Bryce just kinda sits there and it's nice to be able to slide it up and down the strap as I rifle through it for stuff.

That's about it as far as I'm concerned, I could complain or praise it's size but really it comes down to your alternatives. If your alternative is a backpack or a camera bag, this thing is tiny. If your alternative is a vest or your pants pockets, well then maybe it's a bit bulkier but it's definitely more organized than your pants pocket and less goofy looking than a vest. ;)

The only thing I can think of that would've made it better is some kind of attempt to waterproof or at least weather resist. Even a simple flap going over the top of the zipper would've been enough.

Solid build, seems very durable.
Wide Velcro clip for attaching it to a variety of straps or belts.
Well organized with extra pockets inside and out.
Pretty diverse little accessory bag overall.

None that are significant.

This is a solid little accessory bag that has good construction and enough diversity to make it worth the purchase. Some added weather proofing would've made it perfect but I can't really complain about anything else. I feel like it was a good purchase and I'll definitely be getting my moneys worth out of it.
I'd recommend it to anyone trying to lighten their load, slim down or just make some small items more accessible.

Does What It's Supposed to But It's No Bargain 4 novembre 2013

I like my Black Rapid sling. And I use this velcro-attached zipper-closing pocket. It's big enough to hold my iPhone or a small pad of paper with pen, some SD cards or a granola bar. It does what it's supposed to do. But you can buy a generic product of all sorts with either a loop or a velcro closure that works just as well for a lot less money. I got the Bryce as a gift. But basically, I wouldn't buy it with my own money--I'd either use my pockets or get a less expensive generic option. For more money, you're paying for the red "R".

Just bad placement, but useful pouch. 5 novembre 2013

Bought this for use with a Black Rapid sling. Big enough to hold a couple of extra batteries and memory cards or a cell phone. Good addition to my sling. Only issue I have is where it is designed to fit is on the shoulder. Gets in the way sometimes.

Versatile little accessory pocket 17 septembre 2014
Par Macajuel - Publié sur Amazon.com

This is a handy little accessory pocket that works well in a variety of situations. In my standard photo gig setup, I carry my camera attached to an RS-4 strap, and my spare lenses, batteries, filters, tripod etc in a Lowepro Inverse 100 AW Camera Bag. The catch is that with both hips carrying gear, finding a place to stow my cell phone that is both out of the way, yet easily accessible has always been an issue.

In comes the BlackRapid Bryce which unlike it's sibling, the Joey, can be attached to just about anything. So I use the convenient velcro flap on the back, to secure it to the strap of my Lowepro bag and voila, convenient, secure cell phone carrying case. Why don't I just strap it to the Black Rapid strap? Because the strap moves around continuously as I'm moving the camera up and down, so the Bryce moves right along with it, very annoying to me anyway. The Joey version of this kit is can only be attached to certain straps, the beauty of the Bryce is that it can be attached to just about anything that will fit through the velcro flap including belts, camera bag straps, backpack shoulder straps, etc.

PROS - versatile, durable, sturdy and well built and appears to be weatherproof though not waterproof (it can take a splash or some rain)

CONS - if you plan on fitting anything larger than a 4.7 inch phone in here it probably won't fit. My Samsung Galaxy S4 barely fits so iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note and LG Flex users beware. Also, if you fit a standard smartphone in here, nothing else will fit, find somewhere else to put your memory cards, batteries, etc.
