This Book Makes You Stop And Think!!! 9 avril 2003
Par steve - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
133 was referred to me by a friend, I love a good cop story but this was more than just another cop story. It was about the truth and the darkside of America's underworld. This story was tragic and sad yet it was exciting and it even had a love story. People have told me that it's a true story and that all of the things in the book really happened. If they did I'm glad that there's guy's like Robert Sprueill out there sacraficing everything they have to give us a better life.

A Peak Into His Mind 2 mai 2003
Par Candy - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
I've never read any true-crime books before, but I saw this book while browsing for something new. The cover of the book caught my eye and the "133" intrigued me. I picked it up and decided to take a peak. Two hours later I realized that I couldn't put it down and decided I'd better buy it. I devoured the book and was done reading it by the following morning. This book offered a heart-felt glimpse into the mind of Rob Spue (an under-cover narcotics officer). I've often found myself dreaming of him and all that he expresses in this book. I especially found the soul searching in the novel to be quite poignant and very salient to the human experience. Rob showed how he wrestled with the demons of the drug world and how that battle led his heart to harden; however, he also showed how his mission (fueled by 133) was one worth fighting for. I loved this book because it not only told a story, it offered a peak into the mind of a man who knew everything about a world so distant from the average person's life, yet this world is one that truly matters; it is one that exists though we see it not, and it is a world in which I am happy to know there are men like him there to right the wrongs and free the bound. Fiction or not, this book was real because it illustrated the truth of human experience in a setting of tragedy, crime and soul-wrenching justice of the individual warrior in an underworld of pain and sacrifice for the good of humankind.

Robert Spureill is an author to keep your eye on! 2 mai 2003

I was browsing for books online at Amazon and stumbled upon this little known gem. I decided to cough up my credit card and order it. The package came and as soon as I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I was shocked and intrigued at how someone would even attempt a career as an undercover narcotics agent. This book is gripping and it exposes allot about what really goes on in our country in the fight against illegal drugs. The last story in 133 is like nothing you've ever read and it's horrifying and sad. Yet the ending shows us what true courage is all about, to me it was very inspiring. I give Robert Sprueill and "133 Blame Will Kill Your Soul" two thumbs up.

133 Blame will kill your soul. 1 mai 2003

133 was an unstoppable read, I couldn't put it down. I loved the emotional rollercoaser it gave me, the rush of feeling like you were right there standing next to the Undercover Narcotic Officer, "Rob Spue." I would love to see this on the big screen, it makes you laugh, cry and feel the anger of what sacrifice can really do to a good soul. I told my friends about it, they purchased it and felt the same. WOW!
I had the opportunity to meet this author at a book signing in Joplin, Missouri. Rob was as real in person as he is in the book. I loved this book so much I read it a few times. Rob you are a true hero, even if it's not all true.

Went down to Cabo San/Cabo Wabo, saw Sammy play, met this Author Rob, spoke about Robs book, made it home and purchased the book. I'm here to tell you, Robs book was AWESOME!!! It made me laugh outloud, I even cried, I called my wife at work and told her I loved her after reading the book. I went down and purchased the Sammy Hagar Unboxed CD and listed to the song, "GIVE TO LIVE," About fifteen times. It made me love and respect Sammy more for letting the guy put the song in the book. It is a must read book and a must hear song. Rob thank you for telling me about it and sharing the story with the world. Sammy Keep rockin' on, you rule.
