This helped me with my first venture into mystery books 21 décembre 2013

I have never been a major player in mystery books, but Dust caught my attention, since it has some elements that talk about real events. Before reading dust, I decided to get this expert review to take some quick time to see if dust was for me.
This review gave me excellent information about how the book would go. From the chapter outlines to the explanation on the narration of the book, the overview gives me a good idea on what to expect from this murder mystery. This expert review of Dust is well worth the read before starting the mystery book.

Good Review of the Latest Scarpetta Novel 20 décembre 2013
Par K. Hoffman - Publié sur Amazon.com

This review does a good job of expanding on the storyline and mystery that the series is known for. I did find that it lacked in explanation of characters. I assume that's because the characters themselves are so well established. The novel also didn't seem to develop the characters any further than the last installment. It read more like a continuation of the previous installment with nothing particularly new to add.

A must have for any true Scarpetta fan! 18 décembre 2013

This is the 21st book in a series about Dr. Kay Scarpetta and the cases she handles as a Chief Medical Examiner. As a follower of the series, I know how Cornwell uses her real life experiences to bring each character to life. Following the Sandy Hooks tragedy, Scarpetta begins a new case involving a 22 year old MIT student. This case leads her to a Serial Killer, multi-million dollar Lawsuits, shady FBI procedures, and older murder cases.
This review captures the best and worst of the book's details and strengths without forgetting the weaknesses. I can't wait to read Dust paired with this review to see what I am not getting from the book alone, with Cornwells talent for writing and drawing her readers into the book, it may change how we see the characters good and/or bad.

Great read. I have read just about everything Patricia Cornwell has written and have yet to be dissappointed.

Looking forward to seeing Benton Marino the characters but found the story boring. Same old same old. Maybe Kay needed a new marinara recipe.
