This is an excellent tool for quick review and also as a quick reference for someone who already has been exposed to Calculus. If you do not know Calculus this most likely will not work for you. The book deals with Limits and its rules first. In my view to LEARN Calculus I recommend starting with differentiation right away instead of getting bogged down with Limits. Why? Because starting with differentiation gets one into actually doing Calculus right away and gives one the confidence necessary to tackle the somewhat abstract concept of Limits. This is just my opinion and recommendation.

The layout, active TOC, and the cost at 99 cents makes this a superb bargain.

I's say yes. I downloaded this on a lark, just to see how well it conveyed the subject matter (and of course, to see how darned much I had forgotten without use). Figured it was a good place to "test" WAGmob that also provides other "shortcut" books as well just to evaluate their content for the eLibrary of reference material I have.

It does a good job and is very readable

Reads fast and is a great traditional development of Newtons work. The introduction of one single cut of a slope being true engenders Newtons original formula. My high school intro was more roundabout.

SimpleNeasy books are generally well written and this one is no exception. Obviously, the value to any specific reader depends on how much calculus was forgotten or how much was never learned. I plan on using this as a reference for some high school students who will be in my Saxon pre-calculus course next fall.
