You might have mentioned that this map was published in 1967!!!! (Publication date in upper left corner of map itself.)
In fact, it is described as follows: "Michelin Travel Publications; Revised edition (May 1, 2000)"
The age of the map, which APPEARS to be the ACTUAL age, not a reproduction, (e.g. stamped with $0.75 price and rather yellowed.)
Comparing it with a custom wall map of the area that we ordered from the French Tourism Bureau, many roadways have been expanded and several new sections added, quite noticably around Cherbourg in the wall map. This map shows large undeveloped areas between Cherbourg and Octeville, whereas today these cities have geographically merged. The differences are not explained by a revision date of 2000. In fact, the two cities officially merged in 2000 and a revision in that year would have certainly have been labeled Cherbourg-Octeville
I purchased THIS map for my husband to use when he goes for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day this summer. I felt the described map, updated in 2000, would be adequate, but a 1967 map is obviously far too outdated to be of any practical value in navigating in 2014 France.
Please clarify or correct the details on your listing or send out the map you describe.
