5.0 étoiles sur 5 Adorable book with an important lesson! 14 mars 2014
Par Deanie Humphrys-Dunne - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format:Format Kindle
Danny loved Kindergarten. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and his teacher, Debbie. He was comfortable in Kindergarten.
In fact, he was so happy there that he wanted to stay there until he was grown up! But Debbie and Danny's mom said that he would have to advance to the next grade. Danny refused to go. He was very cross and grumpy, but his mom had a good idea. Danny learned an important lesson on his way to school that day and it helped him decide on what to do when he grew up. I highly recommend this easy to read story. Children and parents will enjoy it. They will also love the brightly colored illustrations. It is also available on video.

One more book from uncle Amos. This book is highly recommended for preschool young kids. By his special way Uncle Amos know how to write story with moral for young kids and explain the importance of study and knowledge. The illustrations and colors are vivid and attract the attention of little readers.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 ANOTHER GREAT LIFE LESSON FOR KIDS BY UNCLE AMOS! 15 avril 2014
Par Joyce L. Mitchell - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format:Format Kindle
Uncle Amos writes another wonderful life lesson story! Little Danny wants to stay in kindergarten forever! He doesn't want to leave his friends--they're having so much fun painting, playing on the slide and listening to stories by his sweet teacher. His teacher tries to explain to him that he must go on to school, that is, if he wants to become a doctor or an engineer. "Trust me, either you work hard in school now or you work hard in life later."

Finally, Danny and his mom leave for school. Danny stops by a construction site and talks to a worker, telling him he doesn't want to go to school. The man stares Danny and tells him how important it is to go to school! "Work hard now, young man, so you won't have to work on a job like mine!" Further down the street they met a gardener who tells him to go to school, that he will make more money and won't have to work outside in the rain and the cold. A bit further down the road they meet up with a fisherman, who tells Little Danny that he wished he had stayed in school, that his work is so, so hard! Little Danny tells everyone that he'll go to school and that he will stay there for ALL OF THEM -- construction workers, gardeners and fisherman! Read this great story by Uncle Amos to see what Little Danny becomes after working hard in school. LOVE THE COLORFUL PICTURES! Highly recommended!

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Sweet story with a strong message 5 avril 2014
Par Tracey Landes - Publié sur Amazon.com

I read Why Study by Uncle Amos with my six year old daughter. She gives this book a five star only because she could not give it a ten star! She loved the story because she could relate to Danny. When she finished Kindergarten she thought she was finished forever with school. Why do I have to study more she asked me?
Uncle Amos covers the why’s as Danny’s Mother introduces him to multiple workers who all explain to Danny how important it is for him to stay in school. The illustrations are wonderful with bright beautiful colors. I would recommend this book to parents who have children ages 3-9 years old who all have asked at one time, “Why do I have to study?” Thanks Uncle Amos.
