Présentation de l'éditeur

Neale Donald Walsch has changed the way the world thinks about God. His books have been translated into twenty-five languages, and his Conversations with God series, book 1, book 2, and book 3, have all been New York Times bestsellers-book 1 for over two years.

In the Conversations books, Walsch shared with his readers the beginning of a sacred relationship, as he began an exchange with God on everything from love and faith, to life and death, and good and evil. And then, as Walsch recounted in Friendship with God, something else extraordinary began to happen. His relationship with God began to strengthen and deepen, just as our own relationships do, into a friendship.

Now in Communion with God, his most richly intimate book yet, Walsh discovers how to elevate that friendship to a state of communion. In this blueprint for seekers, he reveals The Ten Illusions of Manthe misconceptions we hold about ourselves and our world and our God. He describes with striking clarity how we might heal the great divide that has arisen from these illusions. And as he explores the true meaning of bringing God into our everyday lives, of having the courage of our convictions, Walsch shows us that we can only break free from our illusions when we act always from a place of deep fellowship with all that is holya place of communion with God.

Good Sense 29 janvier 2001
Par Un client - Publié sur Amazon.com

I have never found my answers in church. Walsch's series of books like C. A. Lewis' An Encounter With A Prophet portray a loving God who makes sense. I would recommend all of these books to anyone wanting answers about God that fit the heart and the head.

This book adds more power to Walsch's message of God unconditional love for us. If you want more of this message I would recommend the book An Encounter With A Prophet

Some Great Truths Here 10 décembre 2000
Par C. Fletcher - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié
I would recommend this book to anyone who feels that they have experienced life on a profound level on occasion, but has a hard time alligning those deep wonderfully-personal feelings with an existing system of beliefs. Even if you haven't read the first four "With God" books, this one is more than worth your time, I promise. It's basic message is a very simple but profound one, and one that may be difficult for many people to easily agree with. The idea is that we are all God, that everything in existence is a facet of God, and that we are not actually separate from each other or from "God," but that are rather under the illusion that we are in order to have the relative experience of ourselves.
There can't be light if there is no dark. If an artist drew a beautiful soul-filling, awe-inspiring drawing in white ink, you couldn't see it if it were on white paper. That's why we need darkness in order to fully experience ourselves.
In this book, Neale Donald Walsch does a very good, concrete job of laying out the 10 illusions that he believes have caused humanity the most pain and trouble throughout our history. It all starts with the necessary, but danger illusion that we are separate from each other. Each of the other illusion builds off the previous one.
I was not raised in a religious household, but I have enough religious experiences of passionate living to believe in God. Even though I am not religious, I feel I came to these books with the skepticism of one that might feel these writings are blasphemous. But I'll have to say, that even though Walsch has a tendency to get too cute in his wording, his basic concepts are very sound, and that while I don't always believe in his style of presenting his ideas, I think the ideas themselve are very sound, and very ispiring.
It's hard not to agree that you should trust yourself and find your truth in yourself.

A little more New Age... 24 octobre 2000
Par Chris Bennett - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié
I have read CWG 1, 2, 3, FWG and now Communion with God. I'm pretty experienced with the concepts in Neale Donald Walsch's books and they have helped me in my life greatly. For me, this was one of the best books in the series. A few things I really liked was the fact that in the book "God" says to go within for the answers (page 108) so if you think this book isn't true, then believe yourself and if you think it is true, then believe yourself. I also found it very amusing that at the end of many chapters God says "And they were right.. but they made a mistake, etc." You'll see what I mean when you read the book. I thought it was funny that he kept repeating himself, but I do have a weird sense of humor so that might be why...
What this book mainly talks about is the Ten Illusions of Humans and how to see through them. Some things kind of confused me, like the Illusion of Ignorance. If I have no ignorance, then why am I reading this book? I know my soul has no ignorance, but as far as my human mind is right now.. I'm pretty sure it doesn't know (or, remember) everything.
One thing I really want to say in this review is that this is "just another religion/belief." We Are All One, etc. Many people call this religion "New Age." New Age talks about being One with everything and it also mixes in some self-help and stuff with it, that is the New Age religion and even if this book or anyone else wants to deny that, when you really look at it this is New Age. This book says it's not a better way, just another way.. yet it also says that it really is telling the "Ultimate Truth" and one day all religions will eventually tell you "the Ultimate Truth" which is what CWG (New Age) and every other religion claim to be. However, the nice thing about New Age is that it doesn't condemn other religions.. meanwhile other religions love to condemn each other.
If you are a fan of the CWG series, I highly suggest you pick this one up. But please don't get too caught up in everything and forget that Love is all that matters. If you were to ask me about my religion I would say, Love is my religion and the Universe is my church. The truth is so simple a child could understand it completely, Love is the answer! But being the complex individuals we are, I think we try to make it harder than it is. That's just my belief though, you can believe anything you want. Even Jesus said that Love is the Way though. God bless all!

The highest authority lies within us 10 février 2001
Par Mohammed Faheem Khan - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié
Communion with God deals with the ten major illusions of human - the illusions of need, failure, disunity, insufficiency, requirement, judgment, condemnation, conditionality, superiority, and ignorance. The way all these ten illusions have been put separately and then discussed in detail collectively is truly amazing.
While discussing the ten illusions and a lot more, the book goes deep inside the life of an ordinary human. And what we realize later is that life is the most beautiful gift we have ever got. Each of us has the ability to access eternal wisdom. Indeed, I believe that God is inspiring all of us, all of the time since the highest authority lies within us.
All of life is a gift, and all is perfection - the perfect tool with which to create the perfect opportunity for the perfect expression of perfection itself, in, as, and through us.
When we understand this, we will remain in a state of continual appreciation. That is, we will be growing. Growth is a meaning of appreciation. When something appreciates, it becomes more than it was.
At many a times we might think that we need a particular person to be happy, or a job to be successful, or some other physical or emotional gratification to be content. That is when we may wish to notice that we are here, right now, without it. Why, then, do we think we need it?
Close examination will reveal that we do not need it, not to survive, and not even to be happy.
Happiness is a decision, not an experience.
The book not only touches these points but also reveals much larger facts about the life. It is definitely not a document to be missed under any circumstance. It is another wonderful piece of note that has come out from Neale Donal Walsch. I highly recommend this book to all of you and look forward to see some more intellectual literature from Neale in the near future.
Happy Reading!
