Excellent manual for the beginner powerlifter. This is a practical book giving the basics of working out with weights. Filled in a lot of holes left by advisers at all the gyms I've been to. No matter how many questions you think to ask, there will always be plenty more you don't know to ask - this book really helps with that!

Helpful- This book will be helpful to anyone wanting to start powerlifting. It goes through how to get. started, dos and donuts, and helps keep you motivated to keep going. Recommended.

Great Book for somebody just getting into Power Lifting, as it begins by dispelling myths and explaining what it is all about and who it is right for. The book covers everything that you would want to have covered, including getting yourself on the correct diet - and why you need to do that - before moving onto the all important training regimes.

The author clearly walks the walk with regard to Power Lifting and, additionally, the right amount of research has been done to add meat to the bone, as it were. Recommended.

The author in writing this informative book on core power lifting training relied on his wealth of experience both as a professional power lifter and more recently as a coach. As such, the book is packed with information on how to start, the correct nutrition and how to train the right way to get the desired result. Lots of myths are debunked and many useful tips are generously provided in this book. There is something for every prospective power lifter - be it at beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Some of the tips provided are readily applicable to other types of sports including bodybuilding. There are some minor typos and formatting errors, however, the wealth of information provided more than make up for this. I particularly like power nutrition plan and the power lifting training plans. Get your copy and start training.
