Description de l'ouvrage

8 mai 2014
Further developing the revolutionary work of Zecharia Sitchin, Chris Hardy shows that the "gods" of ancient myth, visitors from the planet Nibiru, created us using their own "divine" DNA--first through DNA extraction from their own ribs' marrow and later by direct relations with early human females. Drawing upon multiple sacred texts, Hardy details the genetic engineering of humanity by Anunnaki scientist Ninmah, with the help of Enki and Hermes. She reveals how Ninmah's first female human creation, Tiamat/Eve, contained more alien DNA than the earlier male one, Adamu, and how the biblical Noah represents the perfection of her work.
Examining the war between Anunnaki brothers Enki and Enlil, Hardy reveals how the concepts of sin and the inferiority of women were born out of Enlil's attempts to enslave and then wipe out humanity, repeatedly thwarted by Enki and Ninmah. The author further explains how the sacred sexuality taught to humans--still seen in Tantric practice--became suppressed millennia later by the patriarchal concept of original sin and how innocent Eve took the blame for the expulsion from Eden and fall from Grace.
Showing that the god who created us was not the same god who expelled us from Eden, Hardy explains that there will be no apocalypse because the Good/Evil duality has never truly existed--it has been only enemy gods fighting and implicating humanity in the wake of their own competition for power. With a full psychological understanding of how the ancient "gods" have shaped humanity's ongoing history of conflict, we can move beyond the framework of "(my) Good versus (your) Evil" imposed by Enlil and begin to steer our own planetary destiny.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 The Meaning of our Pagan Roots 12 avril 2014

Render the books of Sitchin down to a clear summary of our origins along with our many failings and you have this book. Chris Hardy does a wonderful job of explaining how we have rightfully inherited the unstable emotional thinking of our creator Gods. This includes a powerful and deceitful cultural inheritance designed to keep men and especially women in their designated place as the slaves of the gods.

Repeatedly Enlil, the commander of the Gods on earth, tries to destroy mankind. His childish manic rants against mankind are never interrupted by enlightened thinking or any learning about the potential advantage that mankind can provide. His anger against his smarter brother Enki results in an endless struggle to aswaige his emotional insecurities and boundless need for approval. Reference his fear that mankind might become as great as him when the tower of babel is erected.

Get a new viewpoint on the stepwise evolution of mankind from this book that counters the common patriarchal cultural writings from a feminine point of view. Get behind the scenes of the public relations spin that has been presented for three thousand years and see with new eyes the actual history of man. Dare to question the conventions of our disparate histories and find the benefits within. Put yourself on a par with the Gods, see if your morality is superior to theirs.

1.0 étoiles sur 5 Disappointed -- so bad I feel insulted 6 juin 2014

I expected a lot more based on all the very positive reviews. It reads like a bad work of fiction. There is no evidence. It gave me the feeling that I was being spoon fed a new religion to be taken as fact... like a Bible study tract. This may be something for people interested in the author's imagination as she spends a lot of time and many boring pages attempting to psychoanalyze the Annunaki with nothing to go on but the old tablets.

I wanted to like the book and wasted my time reading to 35% hoping it would get better. I just skimmed the rest of it to see if there were any good parts, but it was all the same drivel as far as I could see. I have never tried to return a Kindle book before, but I will see if I can with this one.

I was like a book about nothing. I feel dumber for having read it. The exception may be if you believe Sitchin's work 100% and enjoy weird romantic musings about what the old gods may have been feeling. If you are looking for evidence and scientific thought, skip this one.

I hate to have to give this scathing review because I am sensitive like that, but I would like to know what is up with all the 5 star reviews? I don't like potentially hurting the feelings of the author either, but please have some substance in the work if you are going to write a book and give it such a flashy title and PhD flaunting.

Some of the strangest theories are also the most fascinating. Especially if they involve human nature and deep mysteries from the ancient past. And the catch is, if they are right, the whole world as we know it comes into a different focus. We live in an era in which gaps in traditional wisdom are opening up like black holes all over the place. Anyone who thinks they really understand reality doesn’t have a clue. Enjoy this thoughtful and creative exploration of the roots human origins and what it is to be us.

3.0 étoiles sur 5 Good Book but not nearly as good as Sitchin or Michael Tsarion's Atlantis, Alien Visitation & Genetic Manipulation 26 avril 2014

Better than most but less than some, including the aforementioned in the review title. This is a good take, interesting & intriguing but others such as Michael Tellinger, Michael Tsarion, Sitchin himself, Marshall Klarfeld, Gerald Clark and others seem to have gone deeper & wider with slightly less personal agenda, especially in the case of Michael Tsarion's monumental & epic work Atlantis, Alien Visitation & Genetic Manipulation

5.0 étoiles sur 5 New perspective on God 8 juin 2014

There are more than a few books out there on how we humans came into being, most of them coming from a male point of view, now we have a female point of view. Chris H. Hardy PH.D., brings a new perspective to the story, and one that is badly needed. Females have been the villain of our story for far too long, though how we can blame them for wanting to be as knowledgeable as their parents is a bit of a mystery.

According to the research of Hardy, Eve(Tiamat), had more alien DNA in her than Adam so she taught him what she knew. I guess by blaming females for knowledge, we have to assume that Adam wanted to remain blissfully ignorant and obedient to his Lord and master.

So here's the story in a nutshell, Once upon a time there were two brothers. They came from a planet that is larger than Earth, therefore they were larger than the average hominoid inhabiting Earth(just check out some of the statues and art of ancient times to see the difference. Also, kings had harems, which I'm assuming is because they might lose a wife or two who died having their large offspring).

The two brothers were both princes, and their names were Enki and Enlil. They had a sister Ninersag who worked with Enki to create a hominoid worker to mine gold(in Africa) to seed the atmosphere of their big planet where their dad Anu, the king resided. Enki and Ninmah were both scientists, and they used their own DNA to create humans(lulus) to work the mines.

Enlil was the politician of the family in all the worse ways. He wanted humans to remain as slaves, while Enki wanted humans to learn and to grow, so he gave them knowledge. Enki's symbol of the serpent(DNA strands), the same one we use in medicine, which tells us that our DNA can go up our spines to connect us fully with our spirits(the wings on the caduceus).

Enlil, being lord of the air, has the symbol of the eagle, while Enki is the snake, and Ninmah is the mother-goddess symbol because she created us. Enlil hates his sister(all women) which is why his book, the Bible practically ignores women and the offshoot religions say that women have no rights and must submit to men.

Hardy compares the Biblical stories to the Sumerian stories to show that while they are similar, the Biblical story makes Enlil the hero/God, and Enki the devil. I can only assume that the writers of the Bible were fans of Enlil, especially since the Old Testament is filled with stories of a jealous God wanted to destroy anyone who disagrees with him and goes around 'worshipping(working)' for other Gods.

What this book does is show us the psychological underpinnings of our religions which still control us to this day. What those beliefs are based on and for me, the reason why the deeper you go into one of the patriarchal religions, the more unbalanced you can become to the point of drowning your children to save them, or blowing yourself up to gain entrance into heaven. Whereas, with one of the more balanced religions, you believe that there is spirit in all things and that we need to honor all life and remain in balance.

I found this book to be a much needed balancing point to the works of Stitchin and all of the others that examine the physical facts.
