I have been looking all over for a diet book and I finally found it. I just love how this book walks you through everything shes been doing to keep this diet going. I have been waiting to get this weight off of me. I am doing just what she did. I would have to say this is probably the most inspiring and also exciting diet book I have read. If you are looking for a very good diet book, don't look no more. This is the book for you. I cant wait to start my diet and be happy about my weight. This is a great book. You have to get it so you can understand.

I was hesitant about buying this book and I can now say that it was SO worth it! This book has given me hope and has inspired me to eat better and get healthy along with losing the extra weight that I need to lose. The way she breaks everything down in this book is so simple and easy to follow. The Dash diet is a great way to get on the right track and stick to it. This Diet isn't like most diets either as it doesn't limit you and it also doesn't make you feel like you are on a diet. She breaks down the calories that you need to eat in here as well and helps you understand more about how calories in and calories out work. I would highly recommend this book to my friends and family!

The author of this book wrote that she loves to eat. She was humilated and bullied all through school and it even continued after graduation. When she reached 326 pounds, she realized she had to lose weight. After coming across the Dash diet, she liked what she read. This is a diet that decreases the amount of sodium in your diet by controling your colorie intake and excerising. She has a great list of menus plus a shopping list that I was very surprised at all the foods that can be eaten on the diet. The author writes about having a better self image after losing her weight. This is a very inspiring story and I recommend reading her story.

Alyssa Montimort's "Dash Diet: The True Story Of How I Lost 189 Lbs Using The Dash Diet" gets five stars, not just for all the great technical details, but for being real. I feel that it's particularly more difficult on women to talk about weight and body issues than it is for men, mostly because I'm a man and hardly give any thought to body image. However, I am always interested in reading people's stories and learning about their weight loss journeys because it's one of the most inspiring things to see how individuals can turn their lives around when they set their mind (and their mouths) to it. If you pick this book, you'll definitely enjoy hearing how Alyssa overcame her struggles and hardships, and even learn a lot about things like BMR and how many calories you actually need vs how many you usually eat. She also includes really helpful details and facts about the Dash Diet that make it very easy to understand and start implementing. Excellent book!

This is probably the most inspiring and exciting diet book I have read to date. The author is relatable and I can definitely say I have been through similar things as her. I have always struggled with my weight, as long as I can remember, and it made my school days probably the least favourite time in my life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is having trouble getting started or sticking to any kind of diet plan. The DASH diet definitely sounds like something I could stick to easily and happily. Low sodium is easy, and this diet doesn't limit you like most do. It seems like a super simple diet to stick to, and recipes and even a shopping list are included! Five star read for sure!
