Présentation de l'éditeur

After a near-death experience, artist Ashley Price is compelled to paint visions of the dead, and fears she's gone crazy. Then she paints a man buried alive and, recognizing the surroundings, she rushes to save him.

Instead of being grateful to her for rescuing him, Detective Jack Sullivan accuses her of being in league with a serial killer. He swears he will put her behind bars. Except, the more time he spends with her, the more he falls under her spell. Can he trust her, or is he walking into another deadly trap?

This book was amazing. I have to be honest here. The first couple of pages kept me wondering what exactly was going on. But as soon as the 2 main characters cross paths everything comes together. When a book keeps me turning the pages and not wanting to put it down, it instantly becomes one of my favorites, and this one did just that. I couldn't pu it down until I found out who the killer was, and it kept me guessing until the very end. :)

Jack Sullivan is a detective only interested in finding the serial killer that killed his sister. Now he is sure of where the killer lives he just needs to find out who he is.

Since her own death from being underwater under ice for 20 minutes Ashley Price has been suffering from vicious headaches and visions of dead people that she just has to paint for it to go away. But now a vision has shown her a man that is not yet dead and she is going to try to save him. But after saving him she might just become the killer's next target.

I was fortunate enough to receive and advanced reviewers copy of Dana's new book, Deathscape, I absolutely could not quit reading it, it was great! A single mother had a traumatic near death experience the year before that left her with some strange psychic abilities that make her feel that she is going crazy. Jack is a police officer that has been trailing a serial killer who killed his sister years earlier. You need to read this and see how Ashley and Jack handle her abilities and his obession in finding his sister's killer who now has Ashley in his sights. I loved this bok and hope that you willl also.

This book just did it for me. It had mystery, suspense, romance, and tension. I found the story gripping and the characters had depth. The only difficult part for me is that I have to stop reading and return to my job throughout the day and it's very hard to do if I'm at a very intense part of the story.

I loved this second book in the Broslin Creek Series! If you like murderer mysteries, suspense, and romance between strong but flawed heroes and heroines, then you will love Jack Sullivan and Ashley Price's story! When Ashley saves Jack's life, little does she know that he will in turn save hers! Dana Marton has a true talent for drawing her readers into her romantic suspense stories. I highly recommend anything written by this MUST-READ author!! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Ashley Price, a talented young painter who has already managed to make a name for herself, was some time ago involved in an accident that left her for twenty minutes dead. However, the EMTs arriving at the scene managed to revive her. After this horrible incident Ashley can't paint anymore landscapes, which was her specialty, but she paints visions of murder victims that seem to take power over her and force her to paint them. To her surprise, one day these powers force her to paint a new victim who most obviously is still alive. Ashley recognizes the scenery of her painting and rushes to save the man. But Detective Jack Sullivan who is the saved victim isn't really persuaded by Ashley's explanations and believes that she is the accomplice of the serial killer he has been hunting for the last few years.

There were some "spiritual elements" which were well integrated into the plot, however, what happened to Ashley's ability when she finally found love and made peace with herself? I fully understood Jack's initial doubts concerning Ashley's paintings and I liked his explanation concerning her abilities but somehow this "change in mind" came very suddenly and surprisingly. Generally, the plot sometimes gave me the impression of being "unrefined". However, this was an interesting story line that according to my opinion wasn't fully developed - unfortunately.

Ashley was a likeable main character and I could relate to some extent to the stress and pain that was caused to her life due to her accident. I also liked the fact that she tried very hard to fight her "dark side". Exactly this was what Jack did as well. He tried to fight the dark sides of his life and job. Both main characters were well presented and definitely had some chemistry between them. Then why did they live their happiness so late in the book?

Not bad but could definitely be better.
