Its a great year not cuz the world is ending, but cuz its the release year of Diablo 3! WOOOOOOO!!! That said, the calendar itself is great. It got dates on moon types, and holidays not only in US, but also for UK, Canada, and Australia/NZ; as well as some Pagan seasons.
The art is magnificent as usual! Though my main complain is that with 2012 being Diablo 3's release date, they should have chosen artworks to really add to the hype of the game, more specifically, art for each class(and both gender for each class will be better!) to satisfty every player. Instead, there is no Wizard(unless the August art is an old design for the female Wizard) nor Witchdoctor, yet it got TWO female Demon Hunter artworks! It would also be nice to have a description or name of the character for each art, but sadly there are none.
Here is the rundown for each month(sorry if I dont know the actual name of some, as much as I keep myself updated with Diablo news, I avoid storyline/characters info, cuz I dont wanna be spoiled):
January: Wizard? Probably an old design, cuz its not the one currently used.
February: Some demon
March: Male Barbarian
April: Female Demon Hunter(standing position)
May: Demon Horde
June: Male Monk
July: Skeleton King
August: Female Wizard old design? Looks old art too...
September: Some sort of wizard/priest? Dont know if NPC or enemy
October: Female Demon Hunter(jumping position)
November: another demon(cool looking)
So there you have it, its still one Hell(no pun intended) of a calendar, even if the said August and September ones look dated and out of place from the rest. BUY IT if you are a Blizzard or Diablo fan! If not, the fact that youre reading this review, well... BUY IT ANYWAY!
