Présentation de l'éditeur

This book is a considerably shorter extract of just the techniques, from our book Dowsing and Self-Healing, in an easier to carry format, by people who have already read that book. This book assumes you have read Dowsing and Self-Healing, and does not have the preparatory ideas and sequences of that book. Dowsing and Self-Healing was written for people who don't have the time to take expensive seminars, or read several thousand books, over decades, as we had to. It took over 40 years of experience, per person, to write that book. It is designed to take open-minded, pure-hearted, focused people with minimal background, to success in dowsing, and self-healing. No one book can cover everything, however, Dowsing and Self-Healing may come close. Jumping Mouse is a story by Hyemoyohsts Storm, of the spiritual path. For Jumping Mouse, the journey began really with curiosity, realizing there was more to life than what the physical senses suggest. The real beginning is the Vision of the Sacred Mountain, where one sees the goal, and realizes there is a path to get there. This book is designed to show you some of what is possible, and to get you on the path. Only you can get to the top of the mountain, though. This book has tools. Only you can choose to use the tools. All of the resources, ideas, and tools necessary to solve all the world's problems exist, now, around us. All that's needed is the Vision to see them, their use in the solution, and the Action to implement. This can be done, and we can have fun doing it! Just try not to have too much fun with it.

Biographie de l'auteur

The authors include a retired military officer, a housewife, and someone who works in the financial services industry. Each has extensive experience with dowsing, over decades. Due to limitations by employers, we have chosen to use the pseudonym Henry Dowser, to recognize the character in the Alvin Maker series, by Orson Scott Card. --Ce texte fait référence à l'édition Broché .

very detailed 20 mars 2013

I write code. The thing a coder has to do is to find the book that is really thorough, that can be used as a reference. What one learns in school has to be supplemented. No book lists everything one needs, not even the dictionary. However, some books are better than others. This one is in its own class, it is so thorough, for its subject. I think it must have been set up for active teaching. This book could be, and is, a reference on the subject. I wish there was a bibliography, and a glossary, that would have been helpful. There are many footnotes, which are useful enough, though as with some computer books, the print is a bit small.

It starts out by introducing a number of dowsing related concepts, from the role of the subconscious mind, belief systems, and the factors that affect accuracy in dowsing. It pulls them together, in a coherent form. Dowsing can be used to "perceive" what is beyond the five senses. It can also be used to send intent. The second part is rarely covered in any book on dowsing, and then only superficially. This book covers that in depth. Dowsing starts with focused, clear questions. This book covers that. There is a nice comparison of paths for intent to crystallize into action, and results.

The chapters make sense if you realize this is a course to learn simple dowsing, to learn more beyond that, gradually, and then to take you up to the level of creation, of creating wholeness. Self-healing is covered of course. There is also a section on using dowsing to heal community issues, which I can't recall having seen in print anywhere else. Look at the book description, and the table of contents, before you buy. This is not a typical book on dowsing.

good, however readers need to be serious about the subject 13 juin 2013

This is not a short book. Readers need to be serious about the subject. I got this at the recent convention of the American Society of Dowsers, in Lyndonville, VT. I also got a book by Harold J. McCoy, of the Ozark Research Institute, which is not listed on Amazon, and they were similar. This one has more detail, and is set up for someone without much background who wants to learn step by step. The methods start in using deeper brainwave states. This is the kind of thing Silva method, Raymon Grace, and others teach. This is more organized, and has more theory that makes sense, than anything else I've read. It was easy to read. I digested about 20-30 pages at a time, because I really wanted to understand this. I went to the June ASD convention to make contacts. Several books on dowsing, there, are not listed on Amazon. I asked why. Apparently small publishers feel that Amazon pushes them around, demanding same day order turnaround, as one example of several gripes, and just didn't want to deal with them. I got another book from a British guy, which was also not on Amazon, for the same reason. That was frustrating. I always thought Amazon had everything. So I was glad I went to the convention. At least this one is on Amazon. This was probably the best book I got, at the convention, but I'm only 200 pages into it. I really want to understand this.

chock full of great and useful infor 13 mai 2013

I love this book! First of all, dowsing is really fun as well as useful. There is a lot of information I have seen before, but through his eyes and experience, it's new again. I read constantly in the healing arts and this one is a real winner.

Is this part of a course? 15 décembre 2013

This book has to be part of a several day course. Is that true? If so, how could I find out about it?

A whole new level 10 novembre 2013

I like Benjamin Bibb's books, on healing. This guy takes it to a whole new level, taking Bibb's ideas, and ideas from at least a dozen other books. They are put together into a long, though very interesting, and coherent synthesis. Indigenous teaching follows a spiral. This book does, too. It is as close as I've seen, to having a real teacher, for the subject.
