3.0 étoiles sur 5Good ideas just incomplete diagrams and/or descriptions2 mars 2010

I've spent hours surfing coaching web sites looking for drill ideas and got frustrated enough to spend $20 on a book. I find the Dutch KNVB model to be a good approach for coaching youth soccer (small sided games, lot's of repetitions, etc) so I figured this would be close, though it is not an offical KNVB book.
There are many good drills that go hand in hand with the Dutch coaching style, for that it is a good reference for putting together a practice. Be prepared to finish many of the drills yourself, it is hard to believe this got published with the numerous ommisions.
Perhaps it was poorly translated from Dutch but there are errors and imcomplete descriptions. It's not just grammatical mistakes, there are many incomplete diagrams missing a number to a identify player and/or randomly missing arrows to indicate the flow. I kept asking myself "which player does X?" or "where does the ball or player go next?". Lot's of head scratching, you have to figure out many of the drills as they simply do not have complete explanations. I'd give it one star for lack of polish, but I just wanted ideas for practices and this book has loads of good ideas, just incomplete ones
