About the author
Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche is a Tibetan lama who, since 1964, has been a professor at the Istituto Orientale, University of Naples, Italy, where he teaches Tibetan language, Mongolian language, and Tibetan cultural history. He has done extensive research into the historical origins of Tibetan culture and has conducted teaching retreats throughout Europe and the United States, giving instruction in Dzog chen practices in a non-sectarian format.
