I found this book while it was free and downloaded it because I have recently started up my own mailing list. I have to say, this author really knows his stuff. This is definitely the most thorough email marketing book I've ever read and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to start a mailing list.

One thing that I really liked is how the author includes a list of "Key Takeaways" at the end of every chapter. Basically they are just a bullet pointed summary of what we covered in the chapter but I have found them extremely helpful. The only thing I think the author should have done, but didn't do, is include all of the key takeaways together in one spot at the end of the book. That would make this book pure gold, a must have for every email marketer's tool-kit.

All in all, this is most definitely a 5 star book and I don't know why the author lists the books for only $0.99, (as of 07/31/2013) they're worth at least $3.99, if not more.

I can follow this guide as I program step-by-step my email marketing techniques. Very useful and simple to follow. I'm sure I'll increase my email response, although I might not be able to achieve the author's glittering promises, such as: "How To Get Tons of Subscribers...Fast!" and "3 Steps to Huge Email Marketing Profits."

Outside of these promotional hypies, the author offers all you'll need to know and follow to "get on board" and develop a solid email marketing program. You'll learn how to use useful tools such as Google, autoresponders, sequencing, etc. But you might need a bit more than all of these put together in order to achieve this promise: "5 Secrets to Total World Email Domination." Wow! Wouldn't I love for that to be true for ME....not YOU, though--only room enough for one of us to achieve world domination. Well, tell you what--I'll take North American domination and you can have North Korea!

Oh, I'm just trying to be as smooth and "today" as the author. I'd give him five stars but he goes overboard with trying to be non-sucky! But if you're into email marketing, I highly recommend this book.

Embedded with a quirky sense of humor, Michael Clarke makes reading this book an enjoyable experience. The information flows fast, the language he uses is far from technical and easy for anyone from an amateur to a pro to understand and no matter what level marketer you are, you will pick up some great new tips and hints that are well worth the price of this book! I've made it a point to read all his fantastic books because I get so much from them, I love his style or writing. It's far from boring!

I read all five of Michael Rogan's Marketing That Doesn't Suck ebooks a couple of months ago but only now got around to reviewing them. This ebook contained a lot of ideas that I now use, as a professional marketer, but had never thought of before. Thanks, Michael!

It's short, at times snarky, but not really helpful. If you do not completely know how to start working with email marketing letters, it might be of some use, but generally, it is a waste of time and space on your Kindle.
