Eragon is a wonderful series with characters that you can really understand and good descriptions of everyting that really makeit seem like you are there. It's true that Paolini entered into a well-used genre but the world he created it unique and well developed. The map in the front and the pronunciation and definition guides in the back are really useful additions, though I would steer clear of the definitions until you are well into the book.
For all three of the first books this really is a great price. You would pay much more if bought separately. Give this series a go! You will most likely really enjoy it. The last book Inheritance isn't included here but was the best book in the series, if you ask me! That one is also a great buy.

if you are thinking of buying this book then you dont need to think twice. i promise that you will not regret buying this series and that you will fall in love with these charecters and the beautiful world that christopher poalini creates. i have already said it but i am going to say it again, this is the best series ever.
