Hi, I'm Lindsey P. I am a proud wife and stay at home mom. After my first child was born, I started to focus on the ingredients used in our everyday health and beauty products. The more and more research I did, the more nervous and upset I became towards companies and their lack of care towards consumers. Fast forward two years, shortly after having my second child, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. During my fight against this disease, I began researching possible causes. I soon began to learn just how many harmful ingredients were not identified on product labels. I vowed once I recovered to share my knowledge through my newly established company producing all natural products, that include soaps, balms, bath salts, etc etc. My books are intended to not only educate, but also to share the knowledge and passion that I have gained through my struggles over the last few years. It’s like an Apothecary in your pocket!! Use essential oils to boost your weight loss plan. Recently began a new workout and wellness regimen and this guide was really useful! I now drink my morning water with lemon and ginger oil, have my acupuncturist use either lavender or rose oil during my treatments and have a cup of chamomile tea before bedtime with cinnamon and peppermint. I found it really helpful to have little steps along the way in my day to give me a boost of satisfaction that I am doing something for my body, and this method helps me incorporate my weight loss goals into my everyday life. Try it out!!

This book has really surprised me how effective essential oils can be in losing weight. I have included oranges in my diet and have lemon water all the time and it has helped me lose a couple of pounds. I can't wait to see how it affects my health and weight in the long term.

I like that this book doesn’t (not even a slight glimmer) give the reader false hopes. In fact, it has been stressed a lot of times that using essential oils coupled with balanced diet and good exercise is still the best way to go in achieving weight loss. As for me, citrus fruits are always part of my diet so I got more interested with essentials oils from herbs. I particularly got excited over trying Sandalwood and Peppermint essential oils. I have been ignoring these two because I don’t have any idea about their effects to the body. After reading, I feel more motivated and encouraged to research and try experimenting which essential oils work for me.

I didn't know much about essential oils, so I decided to read it up on it a little. This book was the perfect way for me to start. The formatting was simple and easy to follow. It gives you all the basics, from citrus to peppermint to cinnamon. If you're like me and want to start learning, get this book.

I had vaguely heard of essential oils and their benefits before, but this lays all of them out with their benefits. The author does a great job describing each essential oil, how they are derived from the plant, what it's uses are, and how good it is for you. This is not some crazy idea that promises how you can be slim and trim and still eat a bag of potato chips everyday, but rather shows you how essential oils can be a great addition to diet and exercise. This book is a great read and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for that little extra boost for their health maintenance program.
