Fifth Vision of Destiny - Brett [Format Kindle]

This instalment in this series focuses on Brett's time with the seer, and the message he never could forget. To this point, everything the seer foretold had come true, much to his amazement. But now, the relationship with Leo and Lisa has developed into much more. Brett knows he loves them both, but vampires cannot love. Or can they?

This story is lead from Brett's point of view, and the frustration, fear and insecurities he feels about expressing what is in his heart are so well portrayed that readers will find themselves holding their breath through the story. Lisa is used to Brett expressing his feelings, and while Leo is not saying the words, the constant need for contact, reassurance and sleeping in the middle should tell him something.

Another book that provides equal measure of emotion and scorching hot sex scenes in many different combinations. Providing a deeper look into the emotional life of Brett and his coming to terms with the relationship aspect of this living arrangement.

Picked up the freebie short, Out of the Box and was n love with the writing. Picked up the entire series then started reading all the rest of this artists works. I love all the stories and how they seem to entwine with each other no matter how minutely.

My favorite book is Baby Steps. Loved the characters and their realistic insecurities. My favorite seris is On the Edge. This is a series definitely worth the read. And I love seeing the beginning before the characters met in a completely different atmosphere (Brett), and having his vision of the future with the characters we know and love.

Brett (my love muffin from the 'On The Edge' series) gets all nervous when it's his turn to go see Sam, he's afraid that he wont be able to show him anything. That there will be no-one in his future to love him. Poor Brett. I melted for him all over again when reading this. How could he think that? Can he not see exactly how lovable he is? Well, I love you Brett, so all's good. Anywho, the vision gets underway with a little kiss, and starts off with our man Brett buying some antique rings. Yea!! We soon discover that the vision is set at least ten years in the future (following 'On The Edge' that is) and the rings are symbols of his love for his vampire lovers, Lisa and the delectable Leo.

We see a lot more of Brett's vulnerable side in this story. It comes through in his fear of being rejected by Lisa, and ruining everything he has with her and Leo. Christ, the man loves them both so damn it much it pains him. And as I've said before Lisa annoys the hell outta me with her whole 'vampires can't love' crap. Really. I mean if Leo can show it then why can't she. Okay, that's not fair. Lisa aint all bad. In fact, in this book we find out the reason she's so uptight about the L word. And I have to admit, I got a bit emotional reading it. Poor Lisa. I do love her really (I'm just a jealous of her getting to be with two very yummy men).

Speaking of yummy men, I fell even more in love with Leo in this book also, when he accepted Brett's ring, and everything else that went with it, without hesitation. Plus, he wasn't afraid to give a little back. Yea Leo. It's about time Brett got a little something something in return. I also loved the sex scene at the end of the book in which Leo was instructing the other two while giving us a little commentary with it. Haha!! Love, Love, Loved it.

And finally, I felt a little for Sam, the seer. He has to sit back and share everyone else's visions of love and happiness, while his own HEA is still so far out of reach. It's not fair that he can see everyone's future but his own. Poor Sam. But, it was clear that him and Daisy are getting closer.....Yea!!. Plus, she was pregnant in Brett's vision. Hopefully they end up realising they're made for each other and take the nest step. Only time will tell
