From AudioFile
Starting his own band isn't as easy as Sam thought it would be, especially since the girls, led by Victoria, want to be part of the excitement, too. Adeptly capturing the enthusiasm of the young people, Bennett portrays them as individuals, with different tonal qualities and pitch for each of their voices. She captures their personalities, as well. Her voice seems to easily transform into the more controlled and polished sounds of the adult voices. Keeping the reading pace moving quickly, Bennett turns a mediocre story into an outstanding performance. P.A.J. (c)AudioFile, Portland, Maine
