Frank Lloyd Wright's view on life, politics, ethics, media, 20 juillet 1999
Par Un client - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Cassette
His views on life were timeless, what a better way to get to know Frank L. Wright as a man than hearing his own words. The interview covered many topics, media(they did not even have a word for it), sex, politics, etc. Frank Lloyd Wright favored 'bottom-up, non-artificial' approach to life and his philosophy reflected in all of his work.

Not to be missed, an experience impossible to forget.. 18 septembre 2014
Par Geraldine Mcinerney - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Cassette
This is indescribably wonderful, for those who are familiar with Frank Lloyd Wright's work or those with an interest in his unusual idiosyncratic personality. This is Mike Wallace as he was in 1957; listeners travel back in time to experience a journalistic interview style that was the norm of the era. Add the primitive state of media technology;on finishing a listen I believe I know more about what life in the USA was about than I did before a listening, or than people today could gain from reading a dozen "definitive" histories of that time. This sort of blind sides you if you know something about Wright the architect & the person. How to describe how it feels to hear the voice of the 90 year old, now mythological Wright. Bombastic, opinionated, happy to provide us his philosophy; he proves to be about the maximum Wallace is able to handle & this necessitates an additional interview; thankfully both Wright's interviews with Wallace are included in this tape
A priceless item, I believe. Frank Lloyd Wright explaining his philosophy of architecture & of life in his own words, evidence that Wright, in what appears to be a state of unthreatened relaxation is, at all moments, always calculated, This is a gem for the listener & a thrill for those still fascinated with a genius.
