From Publishers Weekly
Photographer Frankels whimsical and merry collection of portraits of 30 breeds of rabbits is guaranteed to make readers smile (indeed, Frankel declares the book an "unfailing mood enhancer" in her introduction). She gives comparatively little information on each breeds characteristics (though she always reveals a breeds origin, weight and color variations), but compensates, perhaps, by offering thumbnail sketches of her individual subjects: "Sparky is a daredevil," she writes about an English Spot rabbit. "He likes racing and will chase the mail carrier when he gets a chance." Packed with fluff and a few bits of fact (including a resource section and a recommended reading list), this volume is sure to please a bunny-lover. But few with a soft spot for cute animals could fail to be charmed.
