Descriptions du produit

In this important and insightful work, Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD, demonstrates the powerful healing potential of the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process. You can transform emotional pain, depression, shame, and conflict into empowering connections. Rosenberg shares that behind all emotional pain are unmet needs. He provides simple steps to create the heartfelt presence necessary for healing to occur. Learn how to transform your relationships, find satisfying reconciliation, and move beyond pain to a place of clear, honest communication. Through role-play dialogues and every-day examples, Rosenberg demonstrates the keys to healing pain and conflict without compromise. The healing power of NVC provides practical and effective tools for individuals, mental health practitioners, mediators, families and couples.

I wish it was written better because it has GREAT concepts! 4 janvier 2007
Par A. Norgaard - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
I absolutely love the title and idea of this book. I believe the concepts the author is trying to get across would be very helpful, too - if only I could read the darn thing. The format of this and his other book "Being Me, Loving You" is simply a description of what is happening on stage at one of his seminars and his dialogue with audience members. I find it very confusing. I've tried a handful of times to pick out what he's trying to say, but I'm finally donating this book to the library, where hopefully somebody else will find it more suiting to their needs than mine. I am still interested enough in the concept of NVC that I'm going to look for other books on the subject and maybe give his other book a try, if it' written in a different format. These two books, however, were a huge disappointment.

Great Book to Read with or without a psychiatrist 19 janvier 2007
Par D. Buchanan - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
This book helped me to deal with betrayal and abuse I suffered by the actions of family members and friends. It helped me to understand the path that was ahead of me for healing and helped to relieve me from blame, guilt and pain. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to get past the pain of offenses. I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ but I was unable to afford some of the Christian books. I am glad I found this book through Amazon I would recommend it to Christians, Muslims, Buddhist, etc...

Thank you Amazon and Thank you to Dr. Rosenburg

Provided me a method for addressing old 'stuck' painful conflicts 24 juin 2014
Par Daniel Scot Linton - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
This is one of a series of small (64 pg) booklets addressing particular issues that come up in NVC (non-violent communication) work. This particular book gives examples of what is going on in old emotional hurt between people -- siblings, lovers, parents/children,and others. Specifically, what I am most dearly crave from the person whose action was painful for me is an honest, deep understanding of what was going on for them in the moment(s) they did what they did and I felt deep hurt. This guide provides a framework, some excellent tips ( ...[in a] discussion of the past, say 5 words, no more...] and real-world examples of how we can break the emotional logjam that is at the heart of 'stuck' conflicts.

It is helpful, but not necessary, to have some grounding in NVC theory when reading this book. If you are interested in NVC and wondering how it works 'where the rubber meets the road' this is an excellent introduction that may pique your interest in more general NVC writing.
