2.0 étoiles sur 5 even at low price, barely worth the read 21 mars 2014

Quite disappointing. This very short "book" -- "booklet" would be a more fitting description -- claims to be an introducttion for using the GTD methodology on Evernote. But one really has to know GTD quite well and Evenote even better to make it work. There are the usual raves about how you can collect everything on Evernote, but most of the practical aspect are missing. How do you move a note from one notebook to another, for example how do you create stacks? And there's no mention of the fact that the mobile/tablet versions of Evernote don't have many of the capabilities you find in the desk top vesion. Not to mention the abundance of grammar and usage mistakes ... the editor should be ashamed of him/herself.

I believe this is even simpler than the simplest evernote user would find helpful. It essentially boils down to "you might use an incoming notebook and maybe some others, and also tags are useful because Evernote has a search function". Not worth the dollar, look up the "secret weapon" system for using gtd with evernote instead

Good for a basic understanding both GTD and Evernote. Tagging is discussed could be more on to do lists and such

1.0 étoiles sur 5 Overpriced, lacks substance 31 mars 2014

For the price, this "book" was too short on details and lacked depth of the topic. My fault for not noticing it was only forty some pages and for not reading the reviews. If there had been some "How To" steps included, might have been worth it. At best, this should have been 99 cents.

Someone loaned me this book about six months ago, and it was terrible back then. But I noticed recently that it's been completely rewritten, so I bought the new copy.

Unlike other books on the subject, It doesn't give any info on third-party apps that can be used to enhance Evernote. Nevertheless, it is the only book I've found on the market that gives clear instructions for how to GET STARTED with GTD in Evernote.

In the new version, there's an extra section that's been added on how to send e-mail to Evernote, how to use notebook stacks, and how to create notes that are linked together. There's also a lot of fluff that's been eliminated, and the section on "projects" is much clearer than it was in the earlier version.

Overall, I think this is a good book for beginners.
