Présentation de l'éditeur

As a business owner myself, I can understand the average problems we have to deal with. Not enough time, too many problems coming our way, too many fires to put out, not enough cash-flow, etc etc. When all of this is happening throughout your day, how can you be expected to place your focus on your customer?

Well that's the million dollar question. The truth is, by changing your business model to focus on others instead of yourself, a lot of the problems will take care of themselves. I'm not just talking about "others" as in just your customers. I'm talking about placing your focus on others including your employees. If your job was ONLY to empower them to make decisions in their area of expertise, I can assure you that your business would grow exponentially and you would have more fulfilled, higher earning employees who love your company to the bone and will work as if it's their own.

Do you think this kind of attitude wouldn't translate on to your paying customers as well? They say an entire corporation is a reflection of it's CEO, whether you have 1 employee (yourself) or 1,000 of them.

Do you want to have the kind of company clients rave about and keep coming back for more? It's not more work what you will need, it's actually a different kind of focus. Let's explore a whole new side of business and psychology that will get you there.

While reading the book, “Grow Your Business: 7 Steps to Maximizing Your Profits and Over Delivering Your Clients Expectations,” I kept thinking, “Wow! This all makes sense! I wish everyone who owns a business would follow this advice. This author knows what she’s talking about!” This book is a great resource for any small business owner who wants to expand his business and bring in more customers. Customer service has basically gone out the window in many stores these days, and it would be wonderful to walk into a business that employs the advice that Schneider gives. I really related to her Walmart story about her check. Unfortunately it happens in similar big stores all the time. At least the corporate office took the time to address the problem. If you own a small business and want some strategies to help your business, you need to buy and read this book ASAP!

Growing Your Business by Barbara Steinhoff Schneider was interesting and engaging. It covers many details of providing excellent and efficient customer service and the benefits it will have on your business. I have been in the customer service field for over 25 years and can say that this book will truly make you a customer service expert. It will help you improve your attitude and disposition in providing excellent service.
I can relate to many of the methods that Barbara talks about in the book like in chapter 4 ‘The Buck Stops Here’ in the section on accountability when she talks about being accountable for things by letting the customer know that you will be handling the situation and finding the answer and calling them back. Also by taking the time to right away to find out the piece of information the customer needs. I have experienced the customer that wanted to know about their case and was able to immediately pull their file and give them an update. The customer was delighted to know that she didn’t have to wait for a certain person to be available before they could get an answer.
I would recommend ‘Growing Your Business’ to all who wants to gain more customer friendly policies so that they may grow a strong customer based relationship to grow their business.

Whether you own a small business, a large corporation or are in the process of thinking of opening a business this is a must read for you. The author, Barbara Steinoff Schneider gives you very practical advice on how to grow your business.
One thing that irritates me to no end is when I go into a business, whether it is a restaurant, a grocery store or my local Wal-Mart and there is poor customer service. Your customers are your number one priority and should be treated that way.
Not only should you treat your customers right, but do not forget about the people that work for you, if you do not have respect and trust for the people that work for you, it will not matter if you have customers if you do not have the people to assists those customers.
I like the fact that the author shares some websites for customer relationship management software. She uses a quote that I feel is so very true for anyone that is in any type of business, “Customer’s may forget what you said nut they will never forget how you made them feel.”

The book Grow Your Business: 7 Steps to Maximizing Your Profits Over Delivering Your Clients Expectations outlines the right way to run a business. Barbra Schneider puts heavy emphasis on the importance of customer service And I think that was the greatest point of the book. As a former customer service rep for a grocery store and a current online marketer I think customer service is the key factor to any successful business. Thats just one of the many great tips delivered in this book! Barbra Schneider delivers tips and advice that all business owners should know. I wish I knew this stuff When I first started.
