My first impression was the great amount of information, well written, and easy to read. Also I think it's well-founded and to the point. At the end of the book i was happily surprised because of the FAQ section which gave me a good understanding of all the content provided. I think this book can be a potential bestseller. After reading the book I decided to give a five star rating because I found what I was looking for: a way to lose weight without having to spend too much of my time exercising. The exercises may be of high intensity but I can't complain since I'm required to work out only for about half an hour, three times per week. And that's what I like the most about this high intensity training guide. There's only one thing that I don't agree with: being a vegetarian myself, I don't support any diet that contains meat products. Other than that I recommend this book to anybody who wants to save time and lose weight while creating more toned muscle and greater metabolic efficiency.

There are a lot of reasons for me to both like and recommend this book. For a beginner like me, it covers the HIIT process in detail, but more important, it provides simply routines, breaking each down into a formula that was easy to understand.

And there was absolutely nothing left out. Whatever your preference, treadmill, ropes, resistance, it has been taken into account and a HIIT formula provided.

One of the things I appreciated most, however, was the number of charts and illustrations. In one, it gives a detailed breakdown of a meal plan for weight loss, and, because needs vary, it was ranged based on your weight. I’ve not seen that before, but it was very much appreciated. Another chart gave the same information for a bodybuilder.

Now, as no one else is saying it, I feel the need to weigh in on this too: there are some criticisms of this book expressed in the reviews that don’t stand up. Having just read the book, the details are fresh in my mind, and many of the critics are simply wrong in their facts. The book covers every possible scenario and answers every question, such as how many routines and what length of time is required to achieve afterburn, and the book also states, “HIIT workout boosts metabolism for up to 48 hours after completing a full routine.”

It took me an hour to read the book, so the information is not being presented slow or tedious. There is no need to skim and miss the facts. And the book is chock-full of interesting statistics and details that are designed to motivate. And I’m definitely motivated after reading it.

As results are designed to show in 14 days, I’ll be back in two weeks to report my experience, but my first day with the book was enlightening. The 100% exertion is an exhilarating change to exercise.

"When I bought this book I had read before all the reviews left by other readers. I was a little unsure, but now I'm glad I bought it. I finally found a book that really speaks about High Intensity Interval Training. Workouts, energy levels, right/wrong foods, weekly meal plans and all strategies as HIIT athlete I needed. I do not understand these 1-star reviews. Maybe they are competitors. I started to follow all the advices and strategies I found inside the book and I lost 4.9 lbs in the first week. I feel full of energy and I have confidence about my future results! The book Deserves 5 stars!"

While I wasn't specifically searching for a book on HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), it took a chance on it. And it's been great for me.

First of all, it's a great read. It's written in such a manner that even non-native English speaking people, such as myself, can easily consume the book without. And where there are specific words in the book, the author has put clickable links on them that point you straight to their explanation at the end of the book.

I've started reading it and about 1,5 hours later (I read relatively fast) I had devoured the entire book. The book isn't too short or long, but just about the right size. Given it's low price, you actually get a great amount of information and a lot of bang for your buck.

Personally, I've applied both the nutritional advice (both the tips on what kind of nutrition as the exemplary meal plan in the book) and the so called "10-20-30"-program described in the book. I've applied this specifically to running and cardio exercises (I am using the bicycle crunch as explained in the book). The sections "Sample Cardio Workouts" and "Cross Training Workouts" were of great value to implement this in my personal case. I do have to confess I didn't apply all of the techniques in this publication, as I'm not the fittest guy around just yet. But I guess, using this book, this will gradually change over time.

Since I only started using the HIIT technique only recently (and the book indicates a minimum of 14 days to implement effects), I don't have any major weight loss (except for 0.5 kilo in just a couple of days) or increased muscle strength, but I certainly do feel a little bit fitter already. So endurance-wise, I certainly already feel a difference. I've already given a buddy the advice to check this book out. And you should too.
