Lors du montage de la cage un des cotés ne s’emboîtaient pas bien je n'ai pas réussis a résoudre le problème mais du coup je verrouille la cage et récupère l'hamster par les ouvertures annexes.

"Hamelot" for hammies! 2 avril 2011
Par Hammy Lady - Publié sur Amazon.com
Achat vérifié
This is an amazing hamster habitat! We researched many different types of habitats and read dozens and dozens of reviews, good and bad, on this product. In the end, we settled on the COMPLETE Habitrail Ovo system, starting with the Studio and the Loft, and then added 3 Towers, the Adventure Pack, the Trainer and multiple extra components, including curves, tubes, elbows, cubes, tees and dens. Why so much? Hamsters live in underground burrows (not open, empty spaces like glass tanks and wire cages) with lots of little tunnels leading to small dens and storage rooms. At night, they come out and run up to 8 miles in search of seeds, nuts and goodies they can stuff in their cheeks and run home to hoard. This habitat allows you to recreate their natural habitat in your home.

Some reviews indicated the following problems: leaky water bottles, connectors that don't lock, tubes that fall apart. In response:
1) The water bottle is brilliant! If filled to the top, flipped over into the holder and tapped lightly a couple of times(at which point a few drops fall out), a vacuum forms and the gravity-fed design works great. By mounting the water bottles at dead-end points on the outside of the design, you can easily wipe away the drips from setting it and not have any more problems.
2) The connectors can be a little tricky to master, but work very simply. We sat down at the table with some pieces and connectors and gently figured out the trick in about 5 minutes. Once you've got it down, they work remarkably well. And they make it super easy to clean the cage. If your hammy is typical, he'll pick one place to relieve himself; just loosen the connectors, remove the soiled area, cap the open ends temporarily, wash the section, dry, reassemble and pop back in. Takes about 5 minutes a day. You can wash sections as needed.
3) The tubes fit nicely - if you take your time and make sure the small plastic edges are lined up properly. Most of the shaped pieces fit smoothly, but it's a little bit trickier on the u-turns. If you balance your design, it also fits together better. Too much weight on one side can pull the tubes and loosen the connectors.

Overall, you just have to take your time and learn how the pieces fit together. Be prepared to spend an afternoon setting up and designing your habitat, preferably before you pick up your pet at the store. We spent about 3 hours building the whole thing; we connected all the pieces together on 3-shelf unit and wound the tubes around the legs. We went to the pet store with the Transport Unit, filled with bedding and treats. He was quite happy for the ride home, then spent the entire evening exploring his new burrow. He's created a nest of bedding inside one of the dens, and a food hoard in another nearby. He runs up and down the tubes and runs miles in his Trainer every night. He loves it and we love watching him through the clear tubes!

The ONLY drawback to this habitat is the cost. If you want to see your hammy display natural behaviors and have an enriching environment, it takes more than just one piece like the Studio OR the Loft. An investment into several expansion pieces is necessary for the best habitat. Well worth the money, though, for the best interactive experience. And you can redesign periodically to stimulate your hammy.

We love it and wouldn't choose anything else.

Awesome Cage! 17 avril 2010
Par Chelsea - Publié sur Amazon.com
This cage is awesome. I have a very large syrian hamster and she is quite the escape artist. But, she can't seem to get out of this one and she's very content. It's also fun seeing her run around in all of the tunnels or climb up the stairs to eat the food. The opening to the cage is very nice. It's not a metal door, instead it just folds up giving you a lot more space to put toys in etc. Very easy to set up (if you follow directions) and comes with lots of tunnels. I would recommend this product to anybody!

Definitely the coolest hamster habitat setup out there 8 octobre 2010
Par Bree - Publié sur Amazon.com
We originally purchased an Ovo Suite. Today, we are building more since Habitrail has done such a great job making a fun creative, well made and easy to use habitat system. To add to our suite, we got a Studio and Trainer attachment. Our teddy bear hamster just loves it. She makes use of each compartment, burrows, nests, climbs, runs and seems to be as happy as can be. The wheel is super quiet. The water container works great, no leakage. The assembly is incredibily easy, no fuss, no mess. No complaints here, definitely the coolest hamster habitat setup out there.

Best Hamster cage out there 25 août 2010
Par Amazon Customer - Publié sur Amazon.com
I love the Habitrail Ovo series. They are sturdy, strong, and fun!! There are no metal bars for the hamster to chew on and they love all of the tunnels and hideaways. The locking rings are the best!! They are easy to use and look nice too. All of the tubes come apart for easy cleaning. Wonderful product!! Highly recommend!!!

Okay, But has problems. 28 juin 2012
Par Robo Hamster - Publié sur Amazon.com

First off, I'd like to say that i purchased the habitrail because it looks really cool compared to the other cages. And the way these things are designed so that you can expand the cages and have add-ons.
The studio i received was a return item because there were some items that were already put together, and there were traces of bedding. WASH THESE WITH HOT WATER WHEN YOU GET THEM. These are the minor problems i had but were able to fix with some adjustments. I think the pad i have is a defective item because it's not wide enough to close up the tubes when you put together a design. There's clearly a 2" gap and i had to push them in with force and asking my sister to help turn the lock connectors while i had it held in place. This makes the pad doors not flushed when opening or closing and it also squeaks and scratches up the doors. I have a robo dwarf and it can't climb up the tubes like the ones in the pictures (they show 4 designs) unless you put the tubes horizontal. The hamster can't climb up the stairs to reach the food bowl, The wheel has a long hole in it and the hamster could hurt itself while running on the wheel. The water bottle leaks a lot but you can shake it a few times so it "vacuum seals" but it's still going to leak very little. Another thing with the water bottle is that if you have it setup directly like the picture, the hamster has to twist its neck and head to drink from it so i had to twist the water bottle a little. I ended up removing the wheel, food bowl, and the hideout and purchased additional parts like the ovo den for it's food, a ovo trainer, and a new hideout. Now he has more space.

overall, The Habitrail cages are really nice by look but i wouldn't recommend the ovo studio, but instead go with the ovo suite because it's cheaper and it comes with a transporter.
