Generally the book is great for getting started, for inspiring you and for providing the basics. I thank Melinda Cross for this.
However, I have to say after having done about half the recipies therein, theres a major problem with this book. Clearly the recipies were calculated in oz. They have all been rounded to the nearest oz. Then, someone has then gone through, and for the grams calculation simply multiplied all the oz amounts by 28,35. This means for example, that even the basic recipie (p 32) - instead of 57g of NaOH (2oz * 28,35) it should be 63,5g (2,24*28,35). And instead of 142g of water (5oz*28,35)it should be 162g!! Come on, if the editor was so lazy, this should have been pointed out at the beginning!! Aidez d'autres clients à trouver les commentaires les plus utiles
