I bought this book because I have problems with my hair! I knew the book was small but I hoped that it would be packed with good information and... it cost next to nothing.
Although there is indeed some useful information and some recipes I want to try I found the pages on how to create your own spa out of place in such a small book. In the end the author didn't say much about hair at all! Some of the information on how to harvest and dry your own herbs is useful if, like me, you have never done it. As far as the Henna dyes I find that the author should have mentioned whether they can be used on already dyed hair or only on natural hair. I believe that it can really go wrong if you try it on dyed hair.... But then just ask in the shop where you want to buy the Henna! The advice to be careful not to put the henna on your scalp has put me off. I think that it will be very difficult to apply Henna to your own hair avoiding the scalp, in which case you will end up with a dyed scalp for a length of time and that will probably look very weird!
