Very well written. That said the title suggests the book will give some type of lesson on meditating. It did not, it did provide some valuable information on meditation types, history, etc. If you are looking to learn HOW, choose another title. I did find the book interesting, and as I said well written.

Got this book a few days ago and started meditating since. This book is truly for beginners, it will guide you on how to meditate the right way. I feel so much relaxed and focused lately. I should have started doing it long ago. Really nice book!

I've read lots of meditation books already and this is another book which has good information about meditation. There are new things I've learned from this book too like there's different meditation style depending on religion and as to why meditation is getting popular lately.

I love this book. The techniques presented in this book are precise and straightforward. Meditation is considered much more than concentration. It ultimately develops into an expanded state of awareness.

People have different ways of coping with stress, in the past, I would cope with stress by binging on sweets. However, I had to pry myself away from that bad habit because I need to start living healthier. I have tried to look for a better way to de-stress myself, and I found this book. The author explained everything I needed to know about meditation and emphasized how meditation is great if one wants to achieve inner peace. There is a great chapter that explained how meditation can improve sleep patterns, develop a person’s emotional stability, reduce stress, and promote positive thinking, all of which will lead me to a happier life. Thanks for the great ideas!
