Author Conrad Blake has written a straightforward guide to meditation. Although it is for beginners, it will surely be relevant for those who have more experience also. Why meditate? If you are asking that question, this book will give you a viewpoint on the benefits of meditation. How to meditate? If you are a beginner who is genuinely asking that question, this book will provide an answer that is actionable for you. Finally, why should you buy this book, instead of simply using an internet search engine? Convenience. With this book, you have everything conveniently in one location that will allow you to maximise your time for meditation. The author himself, however, provides the best answer to the questions I have tried to answer: (Quote) "Incorporating daily meditation in your life can help you to be happier, healthier, and better balanced..." (end of quote) That's three excellent reasons to learn how to meditate. Highly recommended.

If you are new to meditating or intimidated by what meditation exactly entails then I suggest you get this book. It is well laid out and written in a way a beginner can understand. I also felt it was delivered in a way that gave me the flexibility to decide how I wanted to meditate. Morning, night or both. With chants or without. After you read this book make sure to take away this one point: You need to relax.

Relaxation is inner peace is what meditation is focused on and we could all use more of. Worth checking out.

I've come across a number of books recently about getting started with meditation, but this is the first one I've found that actually assumes you are a beginner and walks you through the various aspects and stages without any assumptions. For that reason, and also because the writing style is so easy to get on with, and the illustrations are very attractive, this earns a solid five stars.

This is great introduction to Meditation because this book is designed for beginners and written in understandable language. It takes you step by step, all the way through the meditation process.
I also like that there is no religious content in this book. I’ve already bought a couple of books on meditation but they were too religious in my opinion. This book is a good starting point to explore amazing meditation techniques!!
I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in meditation world. For those who want to reduce stress and improve their life, the meditation will be such a great help.

I was always curious how to meditate, I always saw it in movies and it seemed ridiculous, but I have had doctors tell me it would be good for me. This book was the perfect answer. What a great beginners guide to meditation. There were various types and how to go about doing them. I am sure to find the perfect meditation style that will work for me now; now I'm not lost.
