Hi there! My name is Simeon and I'm a poet and a philosopher at heart, a health and fitness enthusiast by habit, a daredevil by choice, and a adrenaline junkie for life. I have a profound interest in the areas of personal and spiritual development, a deep longing for serenity, simplicity and numberless wealth, an unyielding belief in the goodness of all human beings, and an ever-growing ambition for all of us to be able to reach the height of our true potential and fully realize the dreams and visions that we have envisioned for ourselves. Some of my academic endeavors encompass the following: cognitive neuroscience, applied positive psychology, sports and exercise science, and evidence-based psychological coaching. I currently work as a life coach and health counselor with people who want to make realistic, autonomous, and lifelong changes in various areas of their lives. Above all, what I truly desire is to be a positive influence in other people's lives. So if I have played but the smallest part of changing your life for the better, if I have made but one positive impact on you, left you with some new insight, steered you in a new direction, or helped you take that next step on your journey, I will be more than satisfied. I'd like to share a short story I heard once, a few words by Les Brown which have had a profound impact on me when it comes to living life to the fullest. It goes like this: "The wealthiest place on earth is not the goldmines of the earth. No, the wealthiest place on earth is the graveyard. Because here you'll find an endless array of hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, books that were never written, songs that were never sung, inventions that were never shared, cures that were never discovered, and all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to realize their dream. The question is - if you die today, what ideas, what abilities, what talents, what gifts, what dreams would die with you?" I worry all the time. Does Dieter have a better moustache than me? Are my slugs planning a coup? So many things to stress over. With 'How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love...' Wait, that's something else. 'How to Stop Worrying and Start Living' is an excellent resource as because of it I now understand what stress is. This book was remarkably helpful showed me a great many techniques so that I may now live a more stress-free life and have better, less stressful relationships with my untrustworthy slugs.

A great and useful how to and self-help guide for people who are after some positive psychological reinforcement or just for someone who wants to get deep into his own himself.

I'm a bit of a control freak and sometimes I feel like I'm missing something. Taking life easy, for instance.

This is my second book from this author and I must say that I'm enjoying the type of books he writes. I think we all need to stop worrying particularly on things we cannot control and it may sound simple. After reading this book it actually is very simple to stop worrying and start living. If you are on constant stress, then I definitely recommend this book because you could definitely benefit from the principles inside.

Want to be happier in life? This book is a great place to start. It helps you to understand why your body reacts to stress, etc.,and helps you with simple techniques to relax. Helps with depression, worry, anxiety, stress, and my favorite...Negative Thoughts!! I just finished the book and will put to use many of the excellent tips given starting right now. I highly recommend!
