Normandi Ellis est une grande spécialiste de l'Égypte ancienne, et elle le prouve, une fois de plus.
Le rapprochement entre sagesse ancienne et approches actuelles est très réussi.

Profound and eloquent 30 octobre 2012

This is a profound book by a profound, and eloquent, writer. John Anthony West probably said it best: "This remarkable book emulates Egypt itself; it fuses philosophy, religion, art, and science inextricable Unity... It resonates Egypt." Not a book to skim over lightly, though; more than most books I've read in recent years, I found it helpful taking each passage slowly, and even re-reading them in order to fully digest them. If you're already interested in ancient Egypt, this book will be especially interesting to you, but even if you not, you'll still be rewarded by reading it, since it's bursting at the seams with spiritual wisdom and insights. Highly recommended.

Inspiration...Imagination...Thought...Word...Deed 18 octobre 2012

Normandi Ellis wrote one of my very favorite books with ancient Kmt (i.e. Egypt) as its subject. Here I am talking about Awakening Osiris. That book translates the ancient Kmt "Book of Going Forth By Day" into a convincingly inspired and inspiring poem. For that reason I was very excited to see that Ms. Ellis was going to apply her talent for harmonizing with the qualities of these ancient beautiful people into a description of their spiritual and magical practices. I was not disappointed in the outcome.

Imagining the World Into Existence is a relaxed tour through ancient Kmt's core beliefs. Among the touch points are an examination of the power of hieroglyphic writing to convey the true multi-dimensional power of language; a discussion of creation myths and exactly what spiritual instruction is conveyed via them; an overview of the role of various players in the ancient Kmt spiritual tradition, from women and men, priests and magicians, kings and lay people, and so forth; a translation of the Book of Going Forth by Day and its relevant-even-to-modern-people spiritual secrets; and much, much more.

Importantly, Ms. Ellis inserts her first person experiences with these traditions into the book. Consequently, you have both an enthusiastic and experienced guide. Furthermore, the author's choices are all curated perfectly. For example, any deep dive into ancient Kmt and into the Cairo Museum will lead you to the obscure sanctuaries of Djehuty-Ankh-Imn (i.e. King Tut). These fascinating objects clearly convey a knowledge of spirituality via jaw dropping images. Another example is her brief description of the power of R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz's work, without doing the deep nerd dive that many fans of his do. Amen!

Highly recommended for beginning enthusiasts and swallowed-whole-by-the-duat adventurers.

The Mysteries Revealed 15 août 2012

I loved all of Normandi's books but I am so thrilled that she has written this one. She has so much knowledge and deep understanding about ancient Egypt and how its teachings can attribute to the development of our own consciousness and evolution. Her style is always so poetic and so enlightened, that her words open my heart and touch my soul. I love everything about Egypt and I am delighted to have so much of the information that I have read and studied for years in one place, in one coherent offering. This information is a sacred science that allows us to enter into the mysteries. As we enter into the myths, the writings, the teachings, and the symbology of the hieroglyphs, we begin to understand that we are co-creators with the Universe, and that we are always in the process of dying to ourselves,to be resurrected and rebirthed at a new level. Like Osiris, we are reborn and regenerated no matter what we go through in life. This is a book that will reunite you with your essential self and stir your soul. This book will ask you to take a look at your potential and your possibilities, and keep you directed toward the light and toward you own becoming. I recommend it highly. Thank you Normandi for blessing us with such a masterful book!

I found this book to be good and helpful. It helps to understand different aspects of the Ancient Egyptian religion, such as affirmation and banishment spells and other things as well. It would be still better and I would give it five stars if there was no so much of Christianity in it. Christianity and the Ancient Egyptian religion are very different things and the comparisons with the Christianity look odd there.

Normandi has really laid Egypt and its religion science philosophy and spirituality bare until reading this book the true power of words had not yet dawned on me nor had I relized as yet just how important magic wasto the ancient Egyptians I never saw much reason for prayer til reading this book I always thought it was something superstious to do granted I prayed regular just thought I was wasting my time but did it anyway thinking if I'm wrong I could miss out not doing it soI did it but I dare say now I expect my pray life to take on a new dimention with my new veiw thanks to this book.
