A lot of rambling in this book. The last chapter is a recap of the entire book. Really, you could just skip to the last chapter and get all of the points the author makes. It will save you a lot of time if you do this...

This book doesn't read smoothly. It's almost as if these points were taken from a different source an rewritten. Either that or the author is from a different country and English is their second language. Even worse, the problem with the way this book reads could be both, written by a Plagiarist from a foreign country.

I also got the sense that the author doesn't really know much about this subject. There were really no personal experiences shared in the book relating to the subject of the book.

Anyway, I've read much better books.

This is a sensitive topic for many people. The author did a great job at breaking things down, the structure of the book was well planned. You will learn how the book can help you in details and how to identify the sources of your insecurity before you do anything else, that on itself is a great start but there is more. You get plenty of advice on how to overcome your insecurities, even avoiding people who makes you feel insecure while still socializing more. This is a well written book that won't take much of your time to read.

How to stop being insecure book is such an enlightening book to everyone who found themselves wanting what others have. Great techniques and practical advice on dealing with insecurities can be found in this great book! I’ve gone through this part of my life that I was very insecure to my friends when they’re having gadgets, lots of money and everything that they have makes me insecure. I just learned that if you really want to build up your self-esteem and defeat your insecurities, you must start with considering your strengths. Take note you should surround yourself with people who is always positive and people that doesn’t make you insecure. Big Thumbs up!

This book is a good, quick read. The information was presented in a clear, matter-of-fact tone. The book is laid out in an easy-to-read format. Everyone, or nearly everyone, has insecurities and this book gives some ideas for reducing these. This book is a quick overview of simple ways to overcome insecurity in order to achieve a more fulfilled life. You are not told you that you will no longer be insecure after reading this book. It does give a list and discussion of some simple ideas that will help you conquer your insecurities. The most important tip in this book is to take action. If you change nothing, nothing will change.

This book is riddled with amazing quotes that I found really uplifting and have left me in a very positive mood!

The writing style is very brief and to the point, covering a wide variety of reasons for feeling negative and potential fixes to them. However for me the author is completely overshadowed by the images of some truly people such as JFK, Walt Witman, and others quoted in the book overcoming similar problems to mine. I am not complaining - I loved it.
