After years of hit-or-miss and largely mediocre dining experiences in Italy, I was delighted to have this foodie's suggestions. The only so-so meal we had was at a restaurant where he said,"the only thing to recommend this restaurant is its location." So we were warned! Strangely, said restaurant had a long line of people waiting to get in. Go figure. I'd read some previous comments on how addresses weren't accurate, and the book is too heavy to travel with (true), but get over it! It is so gratifying to eat well consistently, and avoid the dreaded "tourist menus" that any negatives are trifling. An ebook version would be terrific, but until then, photocopy.
