As a regular follower of the trials and tribulations of rock'n'roll culture, I find Patti Smith's, "Just Kids" to be one of the very best autobiographical accounts. Her story is captivating. Even if you are not a Patti Smith fan or know little about her, I think the book can easily be of more than casual interest. Patti's story and Patti's story with Robert is of incredible interest, but the fact that the story is so well framed in the context of NYC in the 1970s adds to the interest. The 70s were a remarkable time in New York and Patti's honest account captures that spirit! Recommended without reservation!!!
