The easy read and informative narrative and illustrative style makes it a practical learning and reference tool for the professional beginner, the classroom student and for the experienced lean champion. Paul Myerson's "Lean Supply Chain and Logistics Management" clearly demonstrates that lean is alive and well in the warehouse, on the shipping docks and in the procurement offices, in addition to the traditional factory floor.

This book really teaches you useful tools into making your business as efficient as possible. Great in depth look at case studies as to how a Lean Supply Chain actually works. I personally work with importing and the distribution of furniture, this book gave me invaluable ideas as to how to make our company more efficient with the tools that are already in place. I would recommend it to anybody that is looking to add value to their company.

This new book on Supply Chain Management is so easy to read and clear in its layout.
I especially appreciate how the book provides understandable definitions for a lot of the Supply Chain lingo.
Supply Chain definitely integrates well with lean and six sigma. When lean and six sigma processes are applied to the supply chain, the organization can reap significant results. I definitely appreciate the focus of the book. I find the three are considered as separate processes in most cases.
Case studies are interesting as well as good examples of the material. The book provides easy to understand and easy to implement concepts.
I also like the charts, graphs, and pictures; these help the reader visualize the concepts.
I am getting ready to read the book for the second time to grasp all of the great information.
