For me, I am a beginner student in the wonderful world of meditation. And of course, I want to learn more about it and how it will benefit my physical and mental well being. This very meaningful eBook has exceeded my expectations. Here are some of the PROS in this book:

+ Chapter 2 says it well - Why On Earth Should I Meditate? This is a question I personally wanted to know more about...The book explains that it is necessary to relief stress and promote relaxation! YES! This is what I need and I bet so do you.

+ Chapter 3 - Can Mindfulness Really Improve My Brain - In this chapter, Ms. Francon quotes Dr Herbert Benson (the founder of the Mind-Body Medical Institute), as stating that meditation induces physical and bio-chemical changes in blood pressure, heart rate, metabolism, and brain chemistry known as the RELAXATION RESPONSE. Dr. Benson is a highly acclaimed author and doctor in the field of Mind-Body connection.

+ Very well thought out and very well written book.

Highly recommend this book!

First - I just want to say that you might have NEVER thought of yourself as the type of person who would love meditating or be actively learning how to meditate effectively. You might have always thought that people who touted the benefits of meditation were a little crazy or at least a little weird. That's okay. You're not alone. You might not have thought that yoga had anything to offer you, but now you're beginning to wonder if you were wrong. Read this book. Learn how to meditate. I bought this book because I wanted to know more about meditation and how it could help with things like anxiety, self control, and stress management. I ended up getting a lot more with the sections on how to incorporate meditation into daily living. They were easy to follow suggestions and I was able to see more and more benefits the more time I devoted to the strategies in the book. If your interested in learning more about meditation I recommend this book especially for people who want to start trying it out for themselves right away.

This book is a great guide to Meditation! It takes you through what is meditation and why you should do it, to how to get started Meditating to how to get into the habit of Meditating! It really gives you all the information you could need to get started on Meditation, and as a beginner myself I have to say this is one of the best Beginner books I have read! It is easy to read, understand and implement! It makes Meditation seem easy!

This is a really simple and accessible introduction. It's one of those immutable laws of life, and my own experience that if you just follow these instructions with honesty an open mind and willingness it will all come together. Meditation is about getting to know who we are, about waking up and then giving up old our old ways of being. It can happen for anyone, it is the key to the chains of the bondage of self. Consistency same time same place every day for 20 minutes no matter what you feel like. Simple but not easy. Just do it for a month and see.
