This book is a great introduction to mindfulness. It gives a clear distinction between it and tradition meditation. By using mindfulness it helps you to relieve stress, have a better love life and stop bad habits. Overall its a good book on helping you to become aware of your life and how to make improvements.

Interesting book about mindfulness. The book describes in detail all the exercises one must do to accomplish this relaxed state of mind with ease and it explains how to reach this state of mind in great detail, I liked it. It definitely goes beyong meditation, a good read.

There are many books about mindfulness and mindfulness meditation. Max Fischwell's book stands out from the field because it is user friendly and free from complicated jargon. You can discover the benefits and the applications of this process early on in the book. It is an interesting and hopeful read. I highly recommend it.

Mindfulness 101:Mindfulness Training for Reducing Stress & Achieving is an excellent little book that explains clearly
why A quiet mind is a byproduct of the discipline learned from meditation, not the goal. Through this practice we can
control our emotions and not be controlled by them..The exercises in this book are practical and I look forward to implementing them
in my life on a daily basis.

Even though I enjoy meditation, I find it hard to carve out time in my busy schedule to do this as often as I would like. I'm familiar with the term Mindfulness, but this is the first time I've taken the time to read a book about it.

I was surprised to find this could be done at any time during any activity. I also like that it can be done in short periods, 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. The author goes into detail on exactly how to practice Mindfullness, So many books on meditation focus on the benefits of the practice, but are very vague on how to actually do it.

This book gives clear directions on how to do this. For myself, I'm looking forward to doing some of the informal exercises described in this book.
