The design of the pages is very functional and simple. Each double-page spread is one week, three days per page, with a few lines of space for each day. There is plenty of room to write important appointments or even a small to-do list, which I did to help organize my study time. The weekend splits the last day, meaning there's half the space for Saturday and Sunday. That's a little annoying for writing my weekend study schedule. At the very back, there is a small alphabetized address book. I haven't used it, but it would be convenient to have there if you like that kind of thing on paper. As always, there is a small pocket at the back as well for library cards and such. There is also a full-year overview at the front of the planner.
I should mention that I'm switching to Moleskine's larger version this year. Although this size is perfectly fine and quite convenient for those who like to carry small bags, I tend to carry larger bags anyway and will appreciate some extra room to write. I have large handwriting, too, so it's a little tricky for me to write in such a small space. If I decide that switch was a mistake, I can always switch back. It's just a matter of personal preference and knowing what works for me. That said, I definitely do not regret buying this planner. If you want something very portable that you can throw in your pocket, then definitely get this one. The functionality is in no way compromised by the size.
