Werewolves are women's best friends,

Bride is plump, witty and caring, and her last boy-friend is an utter jerk who's just dumped her. Vane has known only danger, violence and grief for the last 400 years. Talk about a knight in shining armor ! He 's made Bride's dreams come true, baring the details of his being half-wolf, having a murderous family and his brother in a coma... The book is funny and sensual. The heroine is not skinny, which is a nice change. Who cares if the author sometimes takes liberties with her own rules ?

Didn't do it for me.,

Very disappointing... I had secong thoughts about buying another book in the series after that one. Good thing I didn't start the series with Night Play or I probably wouldn't have stuck with it. The characters are everything but interesting, Vane looks more like a dog you feel like petting than a dangerous were and Bride...well Bride is uninteresting at best, aggravating most of the time.... The book is full of inconsistencies and the writing often made me think of second rate romances...written for teenagers...with very poor taste in literature! And what can be said about that last scene ??? A cursed Atlantean God, a Charonte demon and fearful weres dancing the Macarena??? Puh-lease!! You can do better than that Ms Kenyon! I don't know if it was supposed to be funny but it struck me as being...pathetic. Aidez d'autres clients à trouver les commentaires les plus utiles
