The Obscurati: Vamp Camp Series: Book 2

The Obscurati is Wynn's newest book. This one takes place about a 100 years after Vamp Camp. There are a number of changes that take place in the original setting and the hero and his lover have moved into totally new settings and work. They are still as devoted to each other as when they first met and their love grows for other Vampires as well as the human who help the Vampires. There are also a number of changes in the characters in this volume that include things that are helping the Old Catholic Church on the grounds of the estate. One of the Queen's Officials who had been very much heterosexual for hundreds of years suddenly makes major changes in his lifestyle and even marries one of the Vampires from Vamp Camp who had appeared to be so effeminate that few people wanted to be around him. There is a lot of new warfare between the Queen's Vampires and those who have been trying to destroy the good works that Vampires have been doing for thousands of years. In this adrenalin-packed novel these groups each get their just deserts, and those serving the Queen all come into closer bond. The two main lovers are doing great things for the world, for the Vampire community and for those humans serving at the Vamp Camp as blood donors while they are attending Universities. While there are a number of losses from the first book, there is also a change in the direction that the main characters are taking with respect to humanity. Yes, Hamlet (dizzy queen vamp with a karate black belt) is back too, and he still likes to go bump in the night.

The saga really takes an incredible form as the characters face new challenges and loves in their journey. Just when you think you got it all figured out, the whole thing takes a complete turn as an unexpected shock to the reader. Very addictive and hard to put down...
